Well said.
She's doing fine, it's what this show asolutely needed - someone who doesn't hog the limelight.

I find the automatic assumption that she must have had a ghost writer for her novels because she's an ex-model quite patronising and insulting.

I find the entire 'discussion' about her O Levels and why she didn't pursue a university course etc if she had them quite bizarre. Like that's anyone's business anyway. Just because we see these people on screen does not give us automatic rights to intrude into every aspect of their lives nor demand answers to questions which are nothing to do with us. The assumptions being made about her are utterly appalling.

Sometimes I am ashamed of my own species.

I'm not sure what Tess's O Levels or ability to write a book have to do with her presenting skills but anyway.............I'm not a fan, never have been, but surely the glaring (IMO) problem is that they (I assume it's the producers) are trying to make Tess a straight replacement for Bruce rather than scripting the show to suit her skill set.

She can't tell jokes, she really isn't funny and shouldn't be trying to be. If only she could be allowed/encouraged to be a kindly presenter and leave the funny stuff to Claudia/Zoe then I'm sure she'd look more comfortable.
