I thought Karren was actually ok in the last couple of series she's done but this time around there is an air of arrogance about her and rather than respecting her views the way we would with say, Margaret, she's coming across as a bit of a whinger and fusspot. All the eye rolling and face pulling leave me perplexed. I'm not sure what emotion she is trying to entice; whether it's supposed to be funny or embarrassing is beyond me and I've actually gone quite off her. I hope she gets back to her usual self soon.”

Margeret had naturally hilarious facial expressions, and Karren is trying to live up to that character. I'm sure the producers have told her to "express her feelings in her face" or something.

Yes she's hamming up her face for sure. Trying to emulate Nick and Margaret but unfortunately she just ends up looking snooty and stuck up like she's chewing a turd. She should just be herself.

Rather than trying to be Margaret, Karren would have been better off trying to be an ice-queen type persona who is difficult to read. Then she wouldn't have to spend all her time gurning.

Yes absolutely. She was really quite likeable before.
