Couldn't stop laughing at Simon's AT dancing!

The funniest and most silly AT danced by a celeb contestant both UK & US.

I don't dance AT, so I am not privvy to the finer details of technique, but I thought it was one of the best and dramatic dances I have ever seen on SCD

Not sure if the OP is serious or not

Anyways, Mark Ramprakash AT remains the BEST AT by a male celebrity IMO but Simon's AT is a close 2nd . It was STUNNING !!! I stood up and clapped like mad at the end

It was absolutely fantastic.
Maybe someone should find out about a subject before spouting and showing their ignorance.

My favourite AT ever on Strictly was Rachel and Vincent, followed by Simon's. Special mention to Ramps too.

I opened this thread because I was curious why you would put LOL... and I still am. Simon's AT was breathtaking, he really has come on in leaps and bounds and could even win. Obviously you don't like him but that's your prerogative.

Have no idea if that was a good AT showdance from Simon and Kristina . Len is not an expert in AT, neither is Darcey or Bruno so their 10s don't carry much weight . Neither is Kristina an AT expert . They had six hours tuition from two AT specialists but people spend a lifetime trying to master the AT .

If people enjoyed the dance though that's all that matters .

Here are the 50 basic AT steps

Actually, I think you'll find that was Mr Donovan's hair sniffing Morris Dance with added autoerotic asphixiation from a few years back. Also featuring Kristina.

Strange thread. Is it meant to be a wind-up ?
One of the best AT's we've ever seen on Strictly.

To be fair, at least Jason delivered the characterisation the SCD judges require of an AT.

Lecherous old guy after a young girl is better than nothing. Very little authentic AT footwork though. I gave him an extra point for walking onto the floor with Kristina instead of delivering one of those 'rearranging the furniture' moves that were all the rage that year.

And people separate from hold in ballroom and put lifts in dances where they don't belong.

Watching strictly and expecting "proper" dances is a waste of time. It's about entertainment value and performance.

I personally could appreciate Jake's waltz as an excellent, dramatic performance despite it's shortcomings in terms of being correctly danced. I also know that a lot of people will join the dance classes I attend based on what they see on strictly - it's what I did. I don't then judge the thing that got me and a whole load of other people into the thing in the first place and demand that it changes.

I don't know anything about AT but from what's been said on here I doubt there has been a single AT danced on strictly that is anything like a proper AT - apparently even by Vincent and Flavia. But how many people get into that style of dance because of the dramatic performances on strictly?

I think it's really mean spirited to mock a contestant for trying his best, who actually delivered a very enjoyable routine.

Absolutely agree, definitely one of the most enjoyable.

Kristina is a revelation this year - almost a different person, slimmer, more vivacious, and much much better choreography!

Nothing will ever top my hysterical reaction to Robin in his Red elf hat, worshipping Anitas shoes.

In the genre "Strictly AT" Simon was pretty good
