Ade Edmonson as Vim Fuego

Did any manage to catch "More Bad News" on Paramount last night, with Ade as Vim Fuego.?
Classic comic strip present stuff.

Playing castle donnington and getting beaten up by the crowd for saying he was the reincarnation of Hendrix.

More Bad News is good, but the original Bad News is slightly better IMO.

I had the Bad News album when I was a kid - it was fantastically produced by Brian May and had really high budget sound quality. You could tell May had an enormous input into the music and their cover version of Bo Rap is pretty funny. The second album was, sadly, utter garbage - resorting to tasteless jokes about AIDS and a tedious 15 minute 'private joke' drunken rant recorded on a walkman.

I always loved the Young Ones 'Living Doll' cover as well.

funnny you say that, i had Bad News the album when it was released, but my flat was broken into and all my cd's stolen, but seeing last nights re-showing, i decided to look for it on the net and low and behold it was re-released in August last year....went to HMV today and bought it again.
Looking forward to "warriors of ghengis khan" and "hey mister baseman" when i get home.
As for the second album "bootleg"...yes not as good as the first, i remember the drunken rant about "the massacre" ect.

all hail Vim Fuego....and Colin

"I'M A WARRIOR!

"I'M A WARRIOR!
AND I'LL KILL MYSELF SOME DAY!"

I'm more a Rik Mayall fan than one of Ade, however Ade is still certainly, and always has been, the man.

He was twisted tales on BBC three last night, he kills everyone by accident.

Yeah I watched 'twisted tales' the other night, it's certainly an aquired tast but I did enjoy watching Ade in something different. Think Ade is 'the man' also although i'm getting a bit concerned about my 'girlie' crush on him which has developed. Always been a massive fan since very early eighties but he seems to be maturing rather finely like a fine wine... Think I may have to start watch Holby City just so I can look out for the one he'll be in (filming in Africa i think?) please set me straight if I am wrong!!

Does Ade do stand up comedy?

Do you know I don't think I've ever seen Ade do stand up..Think he used to be on Friday night live (staurday night?!!) many moons ago but that was as part of the double act with Rik as the 'dangerous brothers' but would be interested to know that myself......

Rik and Ade never really did stand-up apart from The Dangerous Brothers, along with the Young Ones Live tour, and the numerous live Bottom tours (I've been to three of them )
