Good question, I love bacon and eat that nearly everyday, but I would say either eggs or chicken, just because they are so versatile to cook with. Probably chicken though.

I'd probably have to go with potatoes aswell.
I have them in one form or another about 5 days out of 7. |

I was going to say that as I love really good bread.I am partial to cheese as well eaten with crisp pear. In the end I know I could go without anything, but I don't ever want to. |

Probably butter. Sandwiches, toast, cakes, sauces, freshly drained al dente vegetables - they all taste fab with butter.

"Couldn't live without" suggests you'd have it every day if necessary so .....
Grapes - Pinot Grigio in particular. I have them every evening. |

Potatoes is a good call. Very versatile and an everyday staple but what about salt?
Boiled, mashed or chipped - You gotta add a little (or a lot in my case, don't tell the doctor) salt. |

Cornflakes!
(And I'm going to cheat and have milk with it, so I can also have a good cup of tea!) |

There's two: tomatoes and mature cheddar (although they don't have to be in the same meal).
