I'm truly ashamed what my mind thought when I read this
In my scenario, I'M the doctor.
My companions are Peri and Clara, both of whom are in love with me and have to fight for my affections. On board the Tardis, they'd wear bikinis, silk nighties or cotton bathrobes to get my attention.
The rest of the time, we'd travel to all the most luxurious, fun, beautiful and interesting places in time and space.

For a ''mix and match'' I'd travel with Nine (my favourite Doctor) and Donna (my favourite companion).

Mine would be the first TARDIS team - the first Doctor, Ian and Barbara. . They had a great 'spirit of adventure.'
Probably Jo Grant (with John Pertwee). When you are under ten you see things differently and for me the friendship they had (this is my memories perception) made them a treat of a partnership. In fact I liked the two of them together so much I never wholly accepted Sarah Jane or Tom Baker. I was completely lost after Planet of the Spiders.
As for the modern series, Im not sure many males wouldn't fancy the idea of wandering around space with Clara -whatever the relationship was.

I was trying to be reserved in my post-at my age I reckon I have to be. For research sake Id like to know in your scenario just how much time "the rest of the time" would take up!
Doctor 10 and Donna.
