I heard tumours of his demise a few days ago so it appears he's been almost at the end for a while.

Brokenhearted is one of the classic all time songs and will never grow old. So many soul/r&b/dance legends have left us this year - hope they're having a good old sing song up there

Only heard about this today on the Paul Gambaccini show.
