I think Tinchy was annoyed at being pressurised by others.
Not just by Jimmy, but when he got down there by Kendra too.
He may have swapped if it wasn't for Kendra sticking her beak into their business.

If I feel like I'm being pressurised by somebody and forced into a corner to do something I often do the opposite.

She's clearly jealous of nadia. That was clear the other night when she said she didn't want to see nadia in her bikini or something like that

As they discussed on IACGMOOH Now - Jimmy was urging Tinchy to give up his bed to Nadia but he wasn't budging so Jimmy more or less put him in a position to do the right thing - should the ladies get the beds? I honestly don't know, the older camp mates male or female should be comfortable I feel - Jimmy gave his bed to Michelle and that was the right thing to do - but Tinchy saying Nadia could have the bed and then retract it left me a bit puzzled - he reminds me of a member of my own family (who looks out for only himself )

Thank you both. I never knew Jimmy had given his bed already.

You must have missed jimmy falling upside down when trying to make up his hammock 😄 it was obviously going to happen 😃

Not got a problem with Tinchy not giving up his bed, Nadia wasnt bothered, Its Kendra sticking her nose in, wasnt anything to do with her.

It was an awkward incident, but Tinchy looked quite angry.

I think Jimmy's cavalier offer of Tinchy's bed was not as innocent as it looked. There was an air of baiting about it, which makes me suspect they have a bit of history of jostling for position in the camp.

I'm finding Tinchy a bit enigmatic. He seems quite a dour person, polite and willing enough, and not a complainer, but distant in manner. Maybe the people are just nothing like those he normally mixes with: he actually did seem quite attached to Gemma, and it seemed a big thing that they were the two Essex people. Maybe he feels that they look down on him: he never sounds very chatty and relaxed, and the last thing he needs is someone saying that they can't understand a word he says.

Jimmy's a ****in idiot who orchestrated the whole thing. But Tinchy was pretty rude himself.

He shouldn't have needed "coercing" into giving up his bed, he should have offered it freely.
Then to start a "yes you can", "no you can't", situation was not funny, but very childish.
I support Kendr'a view on the matter.
I also find it hard to understand his mumbling rap/cool talk, fortunately it doesn't matter, as I doubt he is saying anything interesting.

Agree with this. I also thought Kendra came across as unnecessarily aggressive towards Tinchy.... as if maybe they're not getting along anyway and her 'over-reaction' was coming from an existing dislike of him...? Dunno. We'll see, I guess.

I too thought Kendra came across badly - and then to get all passive aggressive "nothing's wrong, I don't want to talk about it any more" - grrr!

Still don't see why he should. Do women want equality or just when it suits them?

^^ I agree with this - and I think that's perhaps why she didn't jump to accept it.

i imagine that's why she's up for the bush tucker. what i thought was weird from tinchy was his obsession with gemma collins lol.

People are taking this very seriously and it was quite light hearted, at least to start with.
Tinchy didn't offer his bed, it was offered on his behalf. Why should he offer the bed anyway? Nadia is a big grown up woman, she and Tynchy are equals after all.
It was quite amusing in an outre sort of way but everyone is making a big deal of it now. Kendra doesn't understand English nuances (& Irish I suppose, given that Nadia is Irish but she obviously understood), she'll have to learn.

Storm in a teacup.

I did see that, but still never put two and two together. I need to pay closer attention.

An accurate assessment of the situation.

I'm English and I thought Tinchy came across very badly - nuances had nothing to do with it. Making somebody think you are willing to swap and then changing your mind is embarrassing and pathetic.

Don't think Tinchy did anything wrong personally, equality can only exist if there is no pressure on males to do stuff unnecessarily like this. Nadia isn't old, pregnant or disabled so it's unfair to expect Tinchy to give his bed up.

What Kendra did, however, was totally out of order. Taking the p1ss out of someone for how they speak when he did nothing wrong isn't right. Also annoys me how on IACGMOOHN they mock his height all the time. Funny how it's acceptable to do that but they wouldn't dare make a joke about how fat Gemma is (which btw she can change unlike his height).

Think many are getting Tinchy wrong, saying he's stupid (guy has written, produced and sung on two number one singles) or selfish (got a charity single out at the moment). All seems to be because he's different to what most are comfortable with, talks differently to them, comes from a poor background, looks a bit different etc

Let's not forget Kendra got famous for sh@gging an OAP. She is the definition of talentless and classless and obviously feels intimidated by Nadia and is trying to get on her good side.

Hopefully she is first out. Worth noting btw that reaction for Twitter was 90%+ positive for Tinchy while on here it was very mixed. Probably says a lot about the demographics on here

I must have been a different show I thought Tinchy was quite rude and made the situation uncomfortable say something like "take what you want from that" when he said it did bother him taking his bed. I liked Kendra stepping in and telling Tinchy he was being difficult by the way he responded to Nadia.

agree if you say you don't mind and are willing to swap then just swap. but everyone has a right to change their mind if they want to. it was no big anyway but kendra made it a big deal.

Jimmy and Tinchy were just joking around and then Jimmy put him in a very difficult situation. Easy for people to judge here but I'd imagine if you're in the jungle giving up a half-comfortable bed would actually be quite bad

Well wait now before you start going into ^ that territory. Agree with almost all of your points re Tinchy (and yeah, the height thing is getting lame, who cares how tall he is although FWIW, have to say he looked taller than Dec when he was standing beside him prior to the task!). He seems like a nice guy, not as vocal/extrovert as some of the others but quite self-contained and well able to stand up for himself when he needs to. I too thought Kendra was unnecessarily harsh with him about something so petty so maybe they've clashed before - I can see them clashing to be honest, she can be abrupt and blunt, and Tinchy's manner can come across that way at times so I can see them rubbing each other up the wrong way.

What I'm saying is there's no good V bad here, just probably grumpy, hungry, people misreading each other and getting annoyed and irritated over petty things. Maybe when they've all had a few decent meals, things will be different.

As for Kendra being talentless and classless, I think that's unfair. Everyone's entitled to move on and she has done so. The only talentless and classless person in there has thankfully gone.

What happens when Edwina goes in should a 68 year old woman be expected to sleep in a hammock?? just asking!!
AntoniaA

An older person, male or female, would be given a bed. There was no reason for Tinchy to give up his bed to someone of equal age and physical fitness. He should not have been coerced in that way.

Kendra was horrible, making a meal out of it and then saying she couldn't understand what he said in such a tone.

Still, it is early days. There's plenty of time for all to redeem themselves - or not.
