We've just got an Alba TV in the bedroom and connected up to our HDR-Fox T2. We previously had a Luxor TV, and managed to get it working with the Humax remote. However I've tried all the codes for alba in the Humax manual, and none of them seem to work.

Has anyone else had this problem with an alba tv? or does anyone know what code I should use?

Can you reset the remote by taking the batteries out for 30 minutes and retrying ?

No that's not worked. The model number is AELKDVD1988

Alba is just a badge stuck on some random kit made in either Turkey or China along with loads of other "makes". So it is possible that a code for one of these other makes may work. So try any of the Bush, Goodmans and maybe some others like Grundig, Hitachi, Logik and Wharfedale. An of which could be the same TV wearing a different badge.
