From what I have seen, he is good actor, not just a pretty face, so they may do.

I've always thought this. I think that has always been his true home, and maybe he has already been offered a role!

Why would he leave one soap to go to another?

He is a London Boy too, I think Danny would be good in EastEnders.

Lol he has only just gone public that he is leaving. So why would he of already been offered a contract with EE. I really doubt DTC would want a HO cast off either.

No! I don't want another young male character, who is cast mostly for his looks.

Eastenders is a bigger soap than Hollyoaks and gives budding actors more of a platform to launch themselves on to a bigger stage. I can't see him landing roles in serious drama.
Lol what you say is complete rubbish. Because it worked out so well for Jamie Lomas at EE...... That's why everyone still called him Warren from Hollyoaks. |

I agree but he can Act yes?
And I honestly don't think we need another male character in that age range. They need to work on the likes of Charlie, Aleks, Kush and Martin (when he comes into it) instead of just bringing in new ones. |

Oh, I walked right past him at New Street Station last year. He's very good looking in real life, short, but good looking! |

For someone who was cast purely on his looks, he's improved an awful lot and isn't that bad an actor (at least in the realms of Hollyoaks). He's also certainly better than the likes of Norwood, Best, Strike and Hatchard, though I can't really see a role for him in Eastenders. If they hadn't already just bought Kush in, I could see running a stall in the market similar to the tat emporium in Hollyoaks.

Love the new look Danny Mac...I still think DTC may go after him for EastEnders.

Had to goggle him. I have more dignity and pride to never watch Oaks
He's gorgeous. But can he act though? Based on looks, he looks like he could be the next Jack Branning. So he will have a child with two mitchells within a few years. |

Maybe Spencer Moon? Although he looks nothing like Alfie Moon. Where as Chris Parker looked to me as if he could be Shane Ritchie's younger brother

I'd like to see him as a new love interest for Lauren if and when she returns. I don't want him to be related to Sharon. He doesn't look the part to be her brother. He can act in my opinion. I can see an actor leaving Oaks and joining EE. Eastenders is a bigger show with a larger audience and probably a bigger paycheque. He has the right accent for a London set soap too.

Aren't the Cokers meant to have a grandson? No idea how old that character would be, though.
