Simon seems to have heaped more praise on OTY in recent weeks than he has for SK.

SK are easier to market. It comes down to the real world not bottom 2.

You think he can make more money from OTY instead of SK?Simon uses his business head not his heart.

I would say yes actually... especially as the Boyband market is in saturation point at the moment

Well yes actually. The market is saturated with boybands at the moment - what makes SK stand out from the rest of them? Nothing. Only The Young on the other hand have no existing competition in the real world. If anything, they can spearhead the next wave of mixed groups.

And if you listen to Simon's critique for OTY over the weeks it's always been about how marketable they would be outside the competition, wayyy more so than any other contestant apart from possibly Fleur.

I agree so much with this comment! Simon is now waking up to the fact OTY are his only chance this year group wise, the fact that SK have been in the bottom two times and a third would only prove to him:

1) 8 People in fact DOSNT work

2) People are not taking to them

I think the next time they are in the bottom 2 they are gonners, even cheryl said they have to up their game because they have been in the bottom twice.

Stevis up against it. i can't see him staying at all, A double elimination makes it interesting though, because after that I can't really see who will be joining him. It could be a very close one this weekend.

But it's also about exposure. If Simon wants to get something out of Stereo Kicks he's more likely to keep them over Only the Young, who in comparison are ready made and don't need the show to the same degree. Ella left in Week 7 after all and has been the most successful act to come out of series 9. Just because he decides to eliminate an act doesn't mean he doesn't want to sign them up.

I think it will be the last time we see these two acts this weekend, and hopefully for ever.

Hoping OTY crash and burn, am surprised at the support they have here but take comfort from the fact that any consensus here tends not to reflect public opinion.
