From the time she lost her seat in 1997, Currie has maintained a presence in the media. For five years (1998–2003), she hosted a late-evening talk show on BBC Radio Five Live, Late Night Currie. In 2002 she moved to HTV, presenting the television programme Currie Night until 2003. Since then, she has appeared in a string of reality television programmes, such as Wife Swap in which she and her second husband John swapped places with John McCririck and his wife, Jenny. She has also appeared in the reality cooking show Hell's Kitchen with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, and Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes, both in 2006.

Currie was interviewed about the rise of Thatcherism for the 2006 BBC TV documentary series Tory! Tory! Tory!. She won Celebrity Mastermind on 23 June 2004, specialising in the life of Marie Curie. She also won All Star Family Fortunes on 3 January 2009. She appeared in Channel 4's Come Dine With Me in February 2009 where she finished third. She made a second appearance on the show during Channel 4's "Alternative Election Night" coverage, with Rod Liddle, Brian Paddick and Derek Hatton as her competitors. She also appeared in James May's Show James May's Toy Stories where she helped him build a bridge made entirely out of Meccano in Liverpool.

I was convinced she had done it before too but I guess I must have been thinking of Esther instead.

She has also had her house done on Through The Keyhole. So looking by looking at the other responses, here, she has done a fair whack .

I think she has done every reality show going except Celeb Big Brother.

The thought did cross my mind, but that's because Edwina's been on ruddy everything.

I thought it too when they announced it the other day.. It's like de ja vous, seeing her in the jungle get up, I swear she had been on it, me and hubby both got on net to look it up lol.. We def were not thinking of Esther or Christine Hamilton.

She just done so much tv our brains must just think of her in the jungle already .

Its really weird because I've seen a few people saying this now so I know its not just me and my partner!

In fact the day she was on the front page of the papers first rumoured to be going in. I automatically thought "oh why are they bringing her back again?"

I was utterly convinced she had done it and when we looked up the full list was shocked she hasn't been on it. I'm not getting her mixed up with anyone else I had a very clear vision of her in "jungle uniform". Its really strange, perhaps some of us have watched her on a parallel universe version of I'm A Celeb.

And she's not even done CBB either which I would have said was where I got her "talking about John Major to a whole bunch of people" thing that I also thought I recalled.

The publicity photo of Edwina in her jungle gear just seemed so familiar, I was sure I'd seen it before. I guess it was only in my dreams .

I wonder if people are confusing her with Jenny Bond. They don't look too different. Edwina's certainly not done Im a Celeb before.

No. Like others here, I have a very clear image in my head of her dressed in IAC gear. And also 'images' of her talking to Ant & Dec at a trial. And I also initially thought when her name was released 'how come she's going in again?' And it's not an image that can be confused with any other show she's taken part in, it's too distinctive, the hat, the khaki shirt, the red body warmer... it's really very weird how so many people seem to have this image of her in their heads....

Maybe she did do it, made a total ass out of herself, and then got one of her ex MP colleagues to wipe all trace of it from 'the files'.... it's the only explanation.

Ive seen all of the series from day one and I cant remember her being in it before. The reason I said Jenny Bond was that she had the same jolly hockeysticks manner and she did a few trials. One especially I remember was in the rat pit. Made a good job of it too. Also if Edwina had been in it before you can bet your life the papers would have cottoned on to it.

She was brilliant on celebrity wife swap. A weekend with John McCririck is way more demanding than 2 weeks in the jungle.
