Has anyone else noticed this? She's a very good actress, but I cringe at times when she has to put on crying, it's really bad!:/

Very few actresses can pull of crying i have noticed
Even the big hollywood actresses.
It can either come across as insincere or very over the top

There is one actress who is a master in crying but i can't for the life of me remember her name.

No. Meryl is brilliant at a lot of things, but crying isn't her strongest. Imo.

I haven't noticed anything wrong with her crying. Her devastation looks convincing to me.

Emma Thompson?

I don't think Kellie Bright was that bad tbh.

No one cries like Juliette Binoche. Sincere and natural. Breaks your heart

It's nice to see people finally noticing Kellie Bright as an actress. I've loved her since the first episode but she never got nominated for anything until the rape storyline.

I think her crying is just fine - she's a magnificent actress, I dare say she's my favourite actress on British television.

Jessica Lange and Lea Michele are probably the best criers TBH.

Have you seen her in other roles?

I haven't noticed her being too bad. I always thought Patsy Palmer was the best crier in EastEnders.

I think Linda's an okay crier. I remember Lisa Fowler was rather good at crying. She cried a lot so I guess she had to be good! Lol

I have seen her in 'The Upper Hand'. I'm trying to find 'Rock and Chips' but it hasn't been in my local shop yet. I have seen every episode of EastEnders since she arrived. Since all the Carters arrived. I think she's amazing.

Have you considered Amazon? All 3 episodes of Rock and Chips are on DVD, for £10.80

Yeah, I've noticed crying isn't her strong suit. I love her as Linda, but I'd prefer in emotional scenes if she'd look down or look away and act as though she's trying hard not to cry. I think that would be more effective.

Other than the crying, I think she's doing a great job.

Thanks! I'll definitely look in to getting that!

There was one scene I recall- back on the 10th July when she was sitting on the bed with Mick after asking for another baby and she was very convincing and her eyes were watery.
I think she's amazing

Lacey Turner is the best they have a crying at the minute, she spent half of her last stint doing it after all.

Ross Kemp is my all time favourite soap crier. When Grant got emosh we had the works. Puffy watery eyes, screwed up face, snot streaming...

I've noticed she struggles to muster up any actual tears. Maybe they should get the tear stick on the go for her.

I haven't thought she is bad at crying! Since her rape I think she has done emotion pretty well. Lindsey Coulson who plays Carol is fantastic at crying. She's a very realistic actress. Natalie Anderson (Emmerdale) is good at shedding tears too.
