Bipolar and Schizophrenia are very closely related diseases with a lot of similair symptoms. Some drugs are used to treat both diseases, in fact.

As a long term fan of the show since the Kurt and Jambo days it really saddens me to see how Kirkwood is slowly destroying the show and characters with his stupid ideas. The worst part is he seems deluded, thinking this is what viewers want. NO IT ISN'T. From the DS interview he is aware of criticism, but still ignores what viewers are saying and tries to say it is what we want to see. The sooner he goes the better!

Giving Tom this storyline is unnecessary and wouldn't surprise me if it spells his eventual exit.

If Berkwood wants to tell sensible storys why doesnt he actually have all the murderers, abusers and kidnappers in the show actually face the consequences of their actions and stop putting innocent characters through so much.

I know it dos not help with peri chicken and tom looking younger then what they are (especially tom who still looks about 10) but its what happens in the real world...it seems your just looking for any excuse to slag hollyoaks, get your head out of the clouds.

Yes its ridiculous isn't it? 20 something Leela being a grandmother is laughable I think she looks very young for her age as well. She barely looks older enough to be a mother never mind grandmother. It will also mean Danny and Sam, if still alive, would be great-grandparents in their 40s! The contrast to Tom's parents is massive I believe Helen was late 40s and Mr C early 50s when they had Tom so your right they would well into their 60s going on 70 if still alive now. Tom's parents were probably about the same age as Perri's great-grandparents (Danny or Sam's mum and dad).

I don't know why people keep saying they look younger than they are, they don't. They look the age they are, all 14/15 year olds look really young just go into a school and look around.

Completely. This is the same forum were people moan all the time Hollyoaks isn't realistic when this is the most real storyline that actually makes sense they've had a go at in ages. I've seen loads of people have kids that young, It happens all the time.


It's not uncommon for children to repeat their parents mistakes because people pick up their parents behaviour, or end up doing the same thing by trying not to do it. Peri has been trying so hard to reject Leela so reluctantly following Leela's mistake is plausible especially when she's had a troubled year losing her parents and having a brain tumour.

How many pregnancy storylines does the show need? This just smacks of BK wanting to keep up with Coronation Street and the forthcoming storyline with Faye...... and people aren't in agreement with that either, so it is nothing to do with people just wanting to slag off Hollyoaks.

Tho maybe it'd help me get Cameron's age as he might mention it. His age annoys me as he must be older than levels but surely can't have been 16/17 as Sam could just have got him done for underage sex. But then he surely wouldn't have been in jail as long.

How many teen pregnancy stories do you need? Does BK realise that repeating storylines over and over is dull? We don't see the conception of Nico or Peri but we know their mothers were thirteen at the time. Finn and Amber did this four years ago.

They're going to need to find a good spin on this; stillbirth or miscarriage maybe? That's the only way it will put off teens.
