The spin off show on ITV2
.....or to give it another title,The Jimmy Bullard Appreciation Show.
I know Rob Beckett is pals with Jimmy, but does he have so much influence that every night is spent telling us how great and funny he is? Every guest has name checked Jimmy as their favourite, and all the other contestants when featured have been spoken of in negative terms.... Mel given a hard time for the way she spoke about Michael in their Dingo Dollar trial (she actually deserved a medal for keeping her cool, and having a smile about it) Jake's turn tonight.....everyone now dislikes him according to all the panel. Any coincidence those 2 are Jimmy's biggest challengers (according to bookmaker odds and most polls) ? |

A show worse than Bots has ever been, and totally unwatchable.

Well I like Jimmy and Mel but I guess I agree with you. It's definitely not unbiased but bleh I don't take it seriously anyway.
Anyway that show is absolutely awful. Makes Big Brothers Bit on the Side look like a masterpiece that's how bad it is. Rob Beckett is the most unfunny comedian on TV at the moment - like truly awfully unfunny, Joe Swash is as unbearable as ever and well Laura is the only thing I like about the show. But ahh it's horrendous. |

See, I don't mind it as I like to see all the background stuff. I'll be glad to see the back of Bobby though; d'ya know what I mean? It's actually quite a talent to be able to incorporate that phrase into every bl**dy sentence he said.

I remember last year they kept running down Lucy Pargeter (for no real reason as far as I could see)
Backfired in the end though, because I think quite a few found it unjust, and ended up voting her into the Top 3. |

It really is awful and always has been in its various iterations. I try it every series hoping they have sorted it out. Who the hell thinks Joe Swash is a good idea? The unfunny comedian is just well unfunny!

It is such an unruly badly produced show, with boorish guests and an unfunny comic.

He renders any show he appears on unwatchable for me. I can watch almost anything, but if he comes on screen I have to switch over. It's for my own well being.

The show is spoiled by Joe Swash acting like a pea-brained sex-mad delinquent. In fact the whole crew appear to act like kids who have just bunked off school.
To make things worse they seem to have pre-booked a succession of TOWIE guests on the assumption Gemma Collins would have lasted longer than a couple of days. What with them and Swash mangling the English language it's almost an hour long bush-tucker trial for the audience to endure. |

There's only one way to watch this rubbish.
I record it and fast forward through most of it. I can see/hear everything I want in approx ten minutes.

It is an aweful programme. TBH, I think Joe is the best one in it, so that tells you what I think of the others.
The so called commedien is NOT funny. all he does is give us his opinions in a format that works for true commediens but not for him. He is like the guy down the pub who tries to be funny, everyone laughs to be polite, then finds their own table. The blonde girl Laura, seems nice enough, but she does not have a "television" personality & there fore much better suited to radio or web ads. Assuming she is a journalist of some sort, may be writing about it instead of talking about it. Joe is OK. I neither mind him nor dislike him. But I much prefered Tara ( TPT ) in her day ![]() The main problem with the show is ( as with bots a bit) is the presenters think their opinion is the only one that counts, the love up those who agree & dismiss those who don't. That is the way Jeremy Kyle works. If they were to be more like Dara O'Brain, it would be a lot better viewing

I don't know why ITV insist on making this spin-off show so utterly juvenile. It's the same every year.
Each year I flick over from the main show to ITV2 in the hope that they've got some professionals to present it, but no - the same immature crap. Joe Swash: will he ever grow up? Will he ever learn to speak properly? Not looking likely. The whole 'nice but dim' thing has worn very, very thin and he comes across as nothing but a totally unprofessional, childish thicko. Rob Beckett: Oh dear, oh dear. The only funny thing about him is his appearance. His 'comedy' reminds me of a primary school kid trying to show off in front of his classmates. The previous 'comedian' was no better. Not funny. Dire. Laura: A shame - I think she could have been be a reasonable presenter, but she has made it impossible for me to take her seriously by going along with the childish antics. If she wants a career in presenting, she should give that show up pretty sharpish. The whole programme is completely cringe-worthy. Who is the target audience? If it wasn't for the smuttiness and constant innuendo, I'd suggest it's aimed at 12 year olds. Such a shame. The programme, if done professionally, could enhance the main show. But it doesn't. It's excruciatingly bad. |

And did I hear they were bringing Joey Essex onto the panel? If so, the others will make even him sound intelligent

Live coverage would be much better for the viewers, We know why ITV won't do that because it upsets their crap scripts.

yep. they are devastated that their latest TOWIE project blew up in their face before it even started, and now they're throwing everything behind their new Chosen One - Bullard. Ironically, he would fit in perfectly with the other cretins on this show. Expect to see him on ITV2 next year.
