He has been hogging all the screen time in the last 2 episodes! Anyone else noticed?

If viewers hadn't voted for him to do the LIVE trial then he wouldn't have been.

i can't understand that one. if they wanted entertainment then they needed to get kendra to do that. it was made for her to do that trial

Na I disagree it stops being entertaining if there is someone who won't do anything eg Knedra, Sinita, Helen, Gillian,

seeing them starve is great. kendra would've HAD to try some of them. it wasn't that entertaining seeing jake ease through them trials.

Yes I totally agree, it would be nice for some of the others to have a bit of air time it is getting boring seeing him drool over the girls and then make pathetic remarks about pigs testicles smelling like his own (ew and not funny!)

It just completely goes over my head why he's there. It's not even like he was memorable from the X Factor for his big personality. He's just very ordinary in every way and it's kind of offputting seeing ITV devoting the entire show to him, with a side of Jimmy and Kendra. Even if he was a little bit interesting it'd be better, but he's just dull..

When was the last time Nadia even had a scene based around her? I can't remember anything she's said or done since she moved into the real camp.

Yes who wants to watch them get all the stars and meals every night, they have 9 from Mel and now 10 from Jake when they fail in the trails they still get rice and beans so they don't really starve, people in some countries around the world would love rice and beans each day to live off.....

Yes - far too much focus on Jake.

As one reality show star leaves another one appears to hog the limelight.

And the way he gropes and hugs some of the women - its creepy.

I really enjoyed the first four episodes - the only celebrities who were sidelined were Tinchy, Vicki and Michael, but even then Tinchy managed to get voted for a trial and pick up some airtime.

Now, the entire cast seems to have disappeared for the sake of Jake and Jimmy. Such a shame.

Of course Jake is gonna get the most airtime if he is creating the most storylines plus with being a newbie they will want to feature him more to start with. The only people at the moment who seem to do anything entertaining are Jake and Jimmy so that is why they are getting featured the most.

I fast forwarded the live trial. I had seen enough of him by then.

Can somebody answer two questions for me

Why did only Jake go to the hideout for the last bird call - he then relayed what was said to Kendra?

Secondly who is cleaning the "dunny" this year - doesn't seem to be much chat about camp chores etc. (didn't want to start a new thread)

Exactly. I'm pretty sure if something major was going on with someone else, it would be shown. For example, looking through the last couple of episodes on 2nd watch, I have been looking in the background to see if "anything extra is going on" and there isn't. I always see Vicky and Michael either sleeping in the background or staring into space. So if they are like that usually, no wonder they are not being shown. It's the Jake's, The Jimmy's, The Mel's and The Kendra's who seem to be doing a little more, hence why they are being shown.

As for trials...I cannot believe I have seen comments like, "I don't like that Jake made it look easy, it's not entertaining. I like seeing people fail,"... errm, so, people complain about campmates being awful at trials, and also complain about people being great at trials... I don't actually understand. Someone enlighten me

As Mel said, "I wouldn't be here if I didn't want to do the trials" and she is 100% right, her and Jake got on with it. Whereas Tinchy, Kendra and a few others would have screamed their way through.

I wondered that as well. If I remember Ant & Dec said that Jake was chosen/selected to go to the CIA HQ for the last birdcall but how was that decided and how come the other 3 agents didn't automatcally go when they heard the birdcall? As you say he then told the other 3 the plan but if all 4 had have gone in the first place then he wouldn't need to tell the other 3 separately.

The amount of airtime he's getting is perplexing given his vacuous personalty , isn't it ?

I posted on a thread yesterday where I posted the airtime each celebrity got on a particular episode, Jake got 13 minutes - five minutes more than anyone else (Jimmy and Kendra both got eight minutes). You don't get five minutes more airtime than the next celebrity unless they (the producers) have an agenda. For a show that has so little camp action, a five minute difference is huge, and that was only the gap between him and the two who made up the top three, everyone else got five minutes or less airtime, meaning Jake had over eight minutes more airtime than seven of the celebrities. It really is 'The Jake Show'.

As for the trials, what don't you understand? It's a difference of opinion. Just because some are sick of the likes of Kendra doing trials, doesn't mean everyone is. Just because some don't want to watch the likes of Jake fly through trials, doesn't mean we all don't want to.
The clash is bound to happen - those who aren't getting their own way on a particular episode will be on here moaning about it, screaming the loudest, which leads to confusion as to what 'the forum' wants as it's always chopping and changing, but there's no 'one way fits all' as we all want different things from the show.

I would say that Jake and Jimmy are both being given alot of air time. Too be honest Jake could just smile not do alot and he would still win. I think girls like him and enough will vote for him to win in my opinion.

It isn't Jake's fault, he doesn't do the editing. I like him, he is a nice guy and did really well in the trial. What is boring is the same person doing the trials, or in Kendra,s case not doing them.
