This made me laugh.
I've never liked her much, she comes across as fake and insincere. Also, that voice/accent combination is like nails down a blackboard. Excruitiating to listen to. |

Jut like I see Cilla Black as a professional scouser, I see Lorraine as a professional Scot.
I bet her dating profile where it says describe your personality it just says "Scottish". |

i think part of the problem is she hasn't evolved over the years. her interviewing technique is still probably the same as when she first started. you can predict what she is going to say & how she is going to act before she does it. it doesn't help that she agrees with everything that is said to her & basically licks their ******

So why don't you tell us which part of the UK you come from and we can all rag on your accent?
I can't stand the way she talks, and yes that's coming from a fellow Scot. |

If you gagged her and put a bag over her head, she's actually got a decent figure on her!

I genuinely don't think the words 'absolutely horrid' and 'Lorraine Kelly' have ever come into my mind as compatible. 'Dandee Younighted' and 'plump cheeks!' (and yes I mean those on the face) are two things I think of when I think of Lorraine.
She's a stalwart. I'm English (for my sinz) and have no problem with her accent or manner. Always thought she was rather sweet. |

She's harmless. She's good at her job and I don't get all the vitriol, she's not a bad lass.

I have nothing against Lorraine, at times she can be funny ... I do however find at times that her interview approach is unprofessional.

It could be worse, she could be the simpering and snivelling Colleen Nolan.

J D Williams adverts are very cringey. As if those dancing women are her 'mates'.

Wait - it's now "trolling" to express a dislike for somebody?
Maybe "absolutely horrid" was a bit too strong on my part but considering some of the things written about people in this forum I thought I was releatively restrained. I also want to say I have no problem with her voice or accent, it's her persona and giggling that I can't stand. I am really at a loss as to how anything I've written could be constructed as trollish. |

She has to be the biggest brown nose on TV. Everyone she interviews is reaaaallly greaaat and she loves them! She is a giggling idiot.
I often wonder why ITV with all if their presenter shake ups on morning TV haven't axed her. She obviously knows were the bodies are buried. |

Lorraine seems nice enough but she's kept her fluffy job all these years by not having to debate, discuss or go against anything anyone says - just agrees, giggles and says everyone is great and "oh we do love you" and "we like that" a lot. She's never challenged but I suppose that's the show!

I don't think I'd say she's a horrid person, but I would say she's incredibly annoying and sycophantic. I have to turn over as soon as she comes on screen, but that's because of the way I feel about her presenting, rather than the way I feel about her as a person.

Ah, Lorraine Kelly, the only woman on TV (and on the Planet) to suffer from adverb tourettes..
"That's really, really good news" "It's so, so great to see you" "I'm really, really annoying" |

I quite agree. But this is DS where trolls huddle behind the anonymity of their keyboards in bedsits and spew out venom against people they don't know because they're successful...
Last time I checked we had free speech, if you do not like what you read here on DS then simply go away back to your bedsit instead of spouting rubbish, I bet you have OFFCOM & Points Of View email addresses in your contact book!

Oh behave yourself, the usual 'troll' comment because someone said something you do not agree with or believe in.

I miss those days. |
