The SPDIF In on the surround system can be connected to any TV with a digital audio output. The input on the surround system is a phono socket by the looks of it from the diagrams in the manual. This is also known as Coaxial.
If the TV also has a coaxial digital output on a phono socket then a simple phono plug to phono plug lead will do the job. If the TV has an optical digital connection (which many do) then you'll need an external box to convert coaxial to optical. Random example http://www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-Audi...dp/B003OSUXO8/ So whatever TV is in your first list will connect with a simple lead. The TV in the second list will need a converter box. |
