The New Mutants...
I'm an old fogey that used to read the original NM's in the early 80's. Whilst hopping around 'tinternet, I came across articles on a revamped NM comic that's been around since 2010. The covers look amazing, but.. As I remember from my youth, an amazing cover can hide awful artwork inside...!
Is the revamped NM's worth me ists from doling out my (hard earned) pennies? I've always preferred good artwork over a bad story (I know, surface-surface!), but all the artists from my 'yoof' dont seem to be in circulation much (i'm referring to THE GREATS: Sienkiewicz/Golden/Windsor-Smith). I also loved Nightcrawler & Shadowcat - are they still in Excalibur or have they returned to the X-Men..? Answers on a postcard pls!

As for the New Mutants... I dunno, I haven't followed the latest run... Obviously, the original crew became the original X-Force and ran with that for a while... then they became X-Men in their own rights, some even Avengers... |

Heh, I loved the original run of NM, though I'll never understand to this day how Karma went from weighing about a billion pounds to skinny without ending up like a deflated water balloon.
Those were the days. |
