YouView app, Radio 4 gone...
I can't set recording of radio programmes from the YouView app any more.
![]() I was fine yesterday, but today Radio 4 & Radio 4 Extra are gone from the app. ![]() This is on top of the BBC dropping radio catch-up from the backwards EPG too. You can still catch-up, but only through the rather clunky iPlayer NOT the EPG. Bugger... It's almost like they don't want you to listen. |

There was a section on this and other BBC radio withdraws on other various platforms on this weeks radio 4 feedback program 22 mins in.
It comes down to the BBC having performed a software update and taken the decision as is the usage is low and limited resources to stop supporting radio catchup service on various platforms apart from live radio player. |

How strange...
The radio channels are back. Maybe it was just a bug & my YouView box & Android tablet got their knickers in a twist. Glad their not gone for good

Spoke too soon. Yesterday the YouView app opened to display only two available channels, BBC 1 & BBC 2. I had to book recordings via the EPG.
Today all the channels are back. Given that no one else is reporting the same problems I'm guessing that I need to reinstall the app to see if that fixes the disappearing channels. |
