Edwina had a good point but it's the way she put it across that was the problem - so condescending! Seemed to be looking for a fight, an opportunity to put Kendra down, rather than encouraging debate.

Kendra however, took it badly and completely lost it. Showed herself up as immature and self-obsessed.

Edwina is, by profession, a total WUM and with very thick skin. She found the perfect person to provoke and Kendra fell completely for it. Neither is in the right or wrong

I don't believe Edwina said that - Kendra was saying that she doesn't live her life or make decisions based on anyone else but herself. Edwina pointed out that as a parent, you make decisions based on making sure your family (kids) do not suffer.

Whether Kendra likes it or not, Edwina spoke a lot of sense.

So Hugh Hefner stalks barely-legal girls who are vulnerable enough to jump at the chance to live in luxury without giving a second thought to the possibility of having sex with him being part of the deal. His seduction technique is apparently "do you want to come up?" (I wonder if he has a third party ask this question) and by this time you are under no illusions that refusal will result in banishment from the luxurious life you have become accustomed to so - in Kendra's case - you say "yes". In another world this would be called "grooming". Kendra's billed as a "reality" tv star, but what the hell is real about going to live in the Hefner mansion for ten years and then getting married? What, exactly, is her vision of "reality" and why are people interested in it? No wonder Edwina got tired of listening to this garbage.

Edwina is a hypocrite. She did not think about her daughter, husband or John Majors wife and kids when she had an affair with him. The woman is awful and she knows exactly what she is doing.

Team Kendra 100%. Edwina's initial tone set Kendra off, and to be honest I'd have been the same. Her tone was so sharp and full of venom and there was just no need for it. She just seems to love to criticize and snap at others for their wrong-doings, or what she perceives as wrong and then complains when the person snaps back. She's a classic bully. I really really dislike her.

I wish Edwina had been in CBB with Gary Busey. Fireworks!

Kendra all the way. As someone said - Edwina is passive aggressive. Kendra got too emotional but she seems to have Edwina sussed more than the others do.

Considering a large amount of the voting celeb public may not know who she is, and how she didn't just shag John Major but sold her story to sell her book - if she hadn't have sold the story, the imagination of those who remember the times may not have been tainted for ever. And why hurt those involved for a book. Kendra yes, sold herself for an old man and a mansion, but she did it with out pretence of the good of the electorate. Kendra works the celeb reality TV public. We watch. We need these people. We stop watching, they will disappear.

Actually both probably dislike each other, as they are both quite similar....Edwina is probably thinking her political career was a waste, in this day and age she could have shagged and sold the story a lot quicker than she did 20 years ago.

Edwina's a bit of a steamroller, but Kendra was talking a load of utter bollocks, and I don't really blame her for challenging it. And Kendra's outburst was infantile. She can't even claim she was pre-menstrual, since we are all abreast of her menstrual timetable.

I am not one of those who says we must 'judge everyone by how they are on the show', but in the case of this thread, that is surely what we are being asked to do.

And even before it started, Kendra trumpeting away that 'you should never live for anyone else!' as if she was imparting words of utmost wisdom was incredibly aggravating. She was holding court in the manner of someone who very, very rarely finds that she doesn't get her own way. Edwina can be a bit of a monster herself, but on this occasion, she was right. It was depressing watching everyone listening in slack-jawed silence while Kendra spoke such utter rubbish, and if she had used just a touch more tact about it I would have been 100% team Edwina, rather than just 90%.

I definitely am not on either persons team. Edwina was being patronizing and she did unnecessarily interject and said some things she shouldn't have, but the way Kendra reacted when just started swearing and flipping out was totally uncalled for and she in my opinion ended up looking worse than Edwina Currie.

Kendra's argument lost all credibility/importance the minute she lashed out like that, i mean i don't like Edwina either but she could have reacted a bit more sensibly.

Dunno, I saw Kendra as saying don't follow the masses, do it your way, live life your way. Okay that when shagging old men doesn't really sit well but Edwina pretending she was a person of the public just doesn't sit well either. Was she thinking of the public when everything was privatised under Maggie? Was she thinking of the queen when shagging Major?

I mean they are both equally awful. But in today's world, I think Kendra following a tv career was in the right, it's what people who are fame hungry do. Politicians are snakes...how many times do we keep seeing this and accepting it. Eggwina sold her story for book sales, and do not want to know what attracted them to each other and lie. Kendra was pretty honest about her moral faults.

I think this thread is asking which manipulating, fame hungry person you want at the right hand of the devil really....
