I can't stand Edwina or her politics, but she was spot on. Kendra embarrassed herself by spouting deluded and self-obsessed vacuous drivel, and then screamed at someone simply for pointing out the flaws in her argument.

I'm not a fan of Edwina by any stretch of the imagination but, like her I really couldn't have sat there and not challenged the ridiculous stuff that Kendra was spouting. Edwina challenged her - it wasn't aggressive it wasn't patronising she was simply giving her opinion.

agree - and so do the voters - unfortunately Kendra prob wont get it she thinks shes getting AT - but Edwina will now know and the more " Intellectual " camp mates will also realise that Kendra is disliked more than her which will prob make some of em think

Exactly. I don't like Currie but at the end of the day, she and Major were both intelligent adults of a similar age (middle aged at the time the affair happened, not old) who consented to an affair. It was a relationship of equals in a way i really don't think you can say a 78 year old man and 18 year girl is. Who was using who more with Hefner and Kendra (or any of his young girlfriends) - well that is debatable.

Have to agree. As I said on another thread, Kendra was happy to hold court (though to be fair Michael did ask her to talk about her life) but as soon as somebody challenged her philosophy (albeit in a rather aggressive manner) she couldn't articulate what she meant in a different way and was resorted to screaming foul language amidst accusations of persecution.
Edwina (and i really don't like her by the way, hate her politics and personal ethics) was not persecuting or bullying her, she merely took issue with a statement that could easily be interpreted as selfish and uncaring. And i really hated Kendra's "grown woman attacking a young girl, you should be ashamed of yourself" spiel. Kendra is an adult, not a child, she doesn't deserve special treatment for being younger than other camp mates. What wpuld the reaction have been if Edwina had said "don't answer me back, respect your elders".

Well according to Wiki she's 29 and a mother of 2,hardly a young girl. She seems quite deluded as to how she sees herself.

Well exactly. She's not even the youngest person in the camp. But i guess her point was that Edwina is nearly 40 years older than her. But so what?! She is still an adult and if she is going to put forward her life mantra as an adult, she needs to debate as one too and not expect 'special' consideration.
The trouble with people like her...and it was evident last night...is the moment you disagree with them on anything it is taken as personal attack on them as opposed to disagreeing on an abstract or an idea.

Kendra's quite capable of going to the bush telegraph to report a pair of socks as lost and ask for another pair. If she didn't maybe there's some who'll believe that Edwina's at fault for not suggesting it.

They know what is expected of them when they move into the "mansion" and they are prepared to sleep with that disgusting old pervert because they like the lifestyle, fame and money that comes with it.
I don't know who I despise more, Heffner or his "bunnies".
In relation to the argument, I have no love for Edwina and I am 100% sure she started it deliberately but the way Kendra spoke to her was unacceptable and she showed herself up for the nasty piece of work she really is.
The whole thing certainly caused a uncomfortable atmosphere in the camp. I hated how everyone seemed to rally round Kendra just because she lacked the courage of her convictions to debate the issue she had raised. I suspect she'll get voted for the tasks all the time now and the camp will go hungry.
