First BIB - There clearly was another interpretation of what she was saying as numerous posters have pointed out, Perhaps you, like Edwina, believe that your perception is the only one that matters?

2nd BIB - Seems to be the battle cry of all Edwina's supporters.

Well, apparently you are reading Edwina's mind as to her motivation. You may be right. You may be wrong. But you are quoting this opinion almost as fact and unless you are privy to the innermost thought processes of the camp mates you have absolutely nothing but guesswork going for you.

No one knows Edwina's motivation but her. It still does not excuse Kendra's rude and shocking tantrum.

I didn't discuss Edwina's motivation, only her actions as I saw them. ie when Mel and Nadia were trying to explain what Kendra meant and she just wouldn't listen. Also her tone of voice was confrontational.

regarding the BIB - That applies to everyone on here. I'm stating my opinion, just the same as you are.

Even after listening to the others trying to interpret the self justifying psycho babble, it still meant the same. What did it mean to you?

Kendra is a very unhappy woman, clearly lacking in self worth, hence her reaction and I feel sorry for her..As for the others I think they know what her temper is like and they don't want to disagree with her.

Au contraire - Edwina is very definitely emotionally intelligent, as well as a very clever Oxford graduate.

She was there listening to "the world according to Kendra" for the entirety whereas we were treated to a very highly edited version of the events and the actual speech.

She had clearly had enough of the self satisfaction and "aren't I wonderful?" drivel being spouted by Kendra, and when she listened to yet another load of codswallop she called her on it. I get the impression that Edwina doesn't suffer fools gladly, and she had probably sat/ lain there listening to the very unintelligent Kendra droning on for far too long. She was also woman enough to say sorry afterwards - something we have not yet seen or heard Kendra do!

As an ex politician Edwina is well used to debating, and probably was trying to get Kendra to confirm that she really meant what she was actually saying, but Kendra seemed so shocked to be challenged at all, that she went off on one and it escalated from there. I am also sure that Edwina is the type of person that once she's said what she wants, she is mature enough to move on and not keep harping about it, and definitely doesn't hold the hard feelings Kendra clearly does!

Good post - I agree with what you say. Edwina might be an ex MP and the wrong politics for me but I do think she is an alright person - I've thought this ever since the famous "eggs" incident !!!

Or maybe her nerves were a bit shot. Edwina Curry's voice is enough to put anyone on edge
