Why do they never switch teams about anymore?

In the last few series, there's one significant team shuffle about week 3 or 4 and then its just one person moves to another team like twice throughout process. I think they should mix teams up more significantly throughout tasks like they did with Young Apprentice as it shows people abilities to work in different teams with different people.

Hasn't it been quite consistent with firings. So no one team has ever been at a significant disadvantage with regards to numbers?

The did swap after the boys lost 2 in a row and the triple firing?

Nothing against lawyers but I personally think they should of been split, before lasts weeks task.

I don't think you understood what I was saying. They used to switch teams, not only to balance teams, but just for the point of different teams- it is rarely ever done so you see same teams week after week.

It's really does change on a series by series basis in fairness. For example, in Series 7, the teams practically changed every single week (After the team swap in Week 3, Week 5 and Week 11 were the only occasion where team swaps didn't take place) whilst in Series 8, team swaps were pretty rare. Last year there seemed to be more, but in actual fact, that's just because the teams were often unbalanced. In fairness, there was a team swap at the start of Week 5 which wasn't THAT long ago.

No I know, I just liked the way Season 7 for example had a lot of team switches. I just thought it made it more interesting

It often depends on how many people get fired in succession from each team. This year's been fairly even so far in that respect. However, Tenacity have now lost twice in a row - if they lose again and go down to four, someone from Summit will be moved over.

I'm not sure. I think the way the teams are arranged now is very entertaining, so IMO there is little reason to change them, but it may get stale.

This year

Spoiler
there may be no more team swaps.

They're all so awful and incompetent this year that I doubt it would make a difference.

They didn't swap the teams much in the early series - normally only when the teams weren't balanced. The first time they changed people without an imbalance was in the ninth episode of Series 2, when Paul and Ruth were swapped. I presumed that was a gender thing - there were six candidates left, four men and two women, so it made more sense for each team to have two men and one woman.

Sometimes they swap people if they can't work with each other. The only time that that has been explicitly stated to be the reason was in Series 1 with Paul and Saira, but I think that there may have been other occasions as well. For example, in Series 8 Katie was moved to the boys' team in Week 3 - in both the previous tasks, she had fallen out with the other girls quite heavily, so I felt like that was a way of giving her a fairer shot. Also there have been times when someone has been challenged in the second week or so by switching teams and being made the Project Manager, such as Stella in Series 6 and Tim in Series 9.

BIB: I agree. Purely on an entertainment basis, Bianca/James and Daniel/Mark need to stay together

On another topic, I really think Daniel is going to survive the boardroom again despite doing little because I think Felipe might be going this week.
