It didn't seem to occur to him that they might reject his advances. Is this his sole motive for going in there?

He was shusshing her. I don't think she was out of order at all and he's not her Dad to tell her that. As for Jake it shows his level of immaturity. He expects every woman to feel thrilled about his flirting. I'm finding him way too try hard which has become very irritating.

Don't think there are many she does genuinely like, very unpleasant woman.
