If Jacqueline quits, do you think the part of Lauren would be recasted yet again? Or do you think the part is ultimately hers now because of the impact she's made?

I think theyd just decide to move on if that happened to be honest.I think the show in many ways is all set to move on from the Brannings bar Carols tribe in the years ahead.

I think there would have to be a long break before any recast happened. It's been 4 years now and she has been centre stage with quite high profile storylines for most of it.

I guess a lot depends on how long Max Branning is going to stay on the show?Geniunely cant see him being there in 7-10 years from now.

I think Lauren has now established herself as a character in her own right to be viable without Max.

I'm not nuts about her myself but there is no denying she has been centre stage for many plots now that aren't just based around the family.

I hope not! I've grown to like Jacqueline Jossa's Lauren and I hate too many recasts! Not sure about how long Max would stay but I do remember reading last year that they wanted him for another ten years.

I really dont understand why their talking about another 10 years of Max at this point in time?: I dont get the appeal of the idea hes already quite repetitive.

Yeah you're right, but then again I read that when Lorraine Newman was in charge so she probably had stacks of repetitive storylines lined up for Max.

Good job she vacated the premises then!

I think they'd just wait until Jac asked to come back. And then if she didn't, they could recast her in about ten years.
