They should get the slipper on him.

Can Johnny and Ben at least have a goodbye kiss before he goes?

I'm dying to see them passionately kissing and naked together.
Like that is ever going to happen!

This is really uncomfortable to watch. Poor Patrick.
I agree but it's extremely difficult and exhausting for carers

Excellent acting between Diane and Rudolph

I'd cry too if I was faced with the prospect of being stuck with Denise for the rest of my life.

It's not his fault he had a stroke, Denise...
Well of course not but caring for somebody sick is damned hard work, especially if you're on your own and they don't seem to be appreciative and are concentrating on what seem to be trivial matters - in this case his allotment.

Of course it is a symbol of his life for Patrick, if he loses hope of getting back to that, what does he have but in reality he is unlikely to recover enough to be able to sork it again so it is just another chore for Denise when she already isn't coping.

I'm glad they're highlighting this issue as it is a real problem to a lot of people.

Yes, it is heart breaking and heart warming at the same time. Which again is truthful for caring for an elderly relative.
