I was indeed being very sanctimonious - I was in a particularly bad mood last night and a bit grrrrrrrrrrrr (well very actually) towards the cow that is the mother of my grand children.

I take it back - but I still don't like her

As long as my kids were in safe hands, I wouldn't hesitate to work away from home for 3 weeks for a ridiculous amount of money.

A poor excuse, to be honest. Had you and others berated other campers for 'abandoning' their children, fair enough, but you all singled out Kendra because you felt she somehow, because of her past, and because she's not very likeable, deserved it.

Err no I have singled her out because as far as I am aware she is the only one with a young baby?
That may be wrong but I am not aware of any other contestants that have very young children.
We are all judging the people on here based on our own experiences.
I do not dislike her because of her past, I dislike her because of the person she is presenting on screen.

Do you mean, you dislike her because she has left her baby? I honestly don't know how old her baby is, if he/she is only weeks old, I'd be reluctant to leave my baby at that age but if it was over that by a few months, I really don't think I'd have a problem going.

I'm not happy that she has left her six month old in the pursuit of money but I have decided that I don't like her based on what I have seen of her on this programme.

On a personal level, I would not have left my own children at that age. Others may disagree but as I have already said, I would have been at best, miserable and at worst an emotional wreak for that length of time.

I'm sorry my excuse isn't good enough for you. I don't like her you're right - I think she's rather obnoxious - as for singling her out on that particular front - I think she's the only one in there with a very young family isn't she?

So how did you earn a living Or did your partner work and you stay at home with your baby much as Kendra is earning the money while her husband looks after the children

I quite like Kendra. She isn't perfect by any means but she seems good fun and has a whiff of vulnerability which appeals. She's certainly interesting unlike so many other drones on this show.

In my opinion even if people don't like her which is their right of course there are many things to mention about her that we can see on the show, without resorting to being judgemental about her family and life style decisions. It risks being unfair and sexist otherwise.

I believe her husband has a job? Isn't he a sportsman or something?
Both myself and my partner worked when my children were small but neither of us left them for weeks at a time and a big cheque would not have persuaded me to do so.

I like Kendra, what you see is what you get. Like most Americans on this and BB they have no idea how our shows work, so the accusations of 'she knows what she's doing' is ridiculous.

Viewers who don't like her (or Americans) will make up all sorts of reasons to slag her off.

But she does make it so easy for them. She's just another self-obsessed Hollywood type.

I agree 100% but some people had their mind up as soon as they set eyes on her and found out her background.

This is her job though. She lives reality TV. Therefore she is only doing her job like you did yours. If her husband is a sportsman then there is every chance he leaves the family for long periods of time, it's just no one is too concerned about that which is essentially what irritates me, it's always the women that get the back lash over this.

I don't like her at all. She is everything I dislike in a campmate, but my dislike of her is nothing to do with her background or her personal circumstances/choices.

So what if she's the only one in there with really young children? Why should that make her a target for criticism?

I am simply explaining why I don't like her.
I think I am entitled to decide who I like and who I dislike without being accused of abusing people!

OMG this must be my fav post of yours ever Trev, you put that so subtly about people being judgemental about Kendra.
She is interesting and she's upfront and it's a breath of fresh air among that lot.
I like the way Kendra doesn't act up and milk the whole girly thing, I think she's been through so much crap in her life she doesn't have time for people who don't accept her as she is.
Funny how it's the women on here who put her down for something she did while still a teenager and not the filthy old man who took advantage of her. That sucks actually.

The "filthy old man" isn't on the show otherwise I am sure he would be heavily criticised.

The ONLY reason she is on her is because of her life choices!

Yes Trev, that's just how it was exactly. None of us were there, we don't know what happened or what Kendra might have been cajoled and persuaded to do by a filthy rich old perv in a position of power.
She seems to be a lot wiser for it now. At least she's not a fraud.

I find her a bit pointless and irritating. I just don't like fake people and I just don't believe she is genuine in any way shape or form.

If people think I'm judging her on her past so be it. I'm not - I just haven't warmed to her at all. I rarely do warm to the US RTV stars they irritate the sh*te out of me with their fake arguments and self centred soliloquys - once you've seen one (and one is more than enough) you've seen them all IMO.

I doubt whether Hefner has any fans on here, but why would he be a topic for discussion?

Do you think he took advantage of her? He seems to have paid her lavishly for her services, and I assume she thinks it was worth it. Not a pretty relationship to contemplate, but an honest one in its way.

I just want to know where I get access to these 24-hour feeds. I mean, surely, everyone's not judging either of them on the little sound bites they chose to air from an argument, are the? As though that told the whole story. Please.
