What's odd about it? He's been taken away from his Dad, siblings, friends and school soon after his sister was killed and has found it hard to cope and his mum won't discuss it when he's asked to. So he has run away back to where his sister's body was found to try and feel close to her.

Seems quite simple to me.

Unless of course you're referring to the change of head.

Don't worry come February, Ian will hear the bathroom water running and he'll shout who's there and Lucy will pop her head out of the door and say Hi Daddy!

It's like Jane has never heard of a phone, like you would sent your child on a train from just a email from his father.

And Ben didn't see a bit concern his nephew was missing, such bad continuity sometimes.

and he has a new head.

The more ridiculous part is Bianca didn't think two kids planning to runaway to a different city was of any concern.. especially if she knew about the Lucy part of the plan.

It's totally unrealistic! How would he have coped that age, sleeping in the woods too, he would have probably been ate by foxes or bitten by at least some animal. Jane not calling and just turning up in London after a week of him going away. What's this about??

And people call HO unrealistic but it's a different story when it's their 'amazing' EE. Plus, Ian didn't even seem to look like he cared Bobby was gone in tonight's episode.

It was yesterday when Jane put him on the train. She then drove to London when she realised Bobby had lied to her.

Eastenders gets called out for being unrealistic a lot, but these days it's mostly just general stuff you can get away with calling artistic licence rather then sensationalist drivel.

Isn't he about 10? I wouldn't put a child that age on a train alone. And why didn't she double check with Ian by telephone that he knew Bobby was coming?!

I don't know what all the fuss is about. No-one batted an eyelid last June when Bobby told Jane he was popping out for a pint of milk and came back 3 weeks later with a tan and a thai bride.

1 - People have called it 'amazing' a lot on here. I beg to differ.

2 - HO doesn't actually do OTT things every week. It's just dramatic that people don't like.

But she said to Ian she hadn't spoke to him for a week.

I think it was Ian who said he hadn't spoken to Bobby for a week.

Just said exactly this on another thread.

He got on a train in the morning. Jane tried to contact ian and couldn't get through - as soon as she realised there was a problem she got in her car and was at Ian's only a few hours later in the afternoon - it wasn't even dark was it.

He slept outside one night and it often isn't below freezing at this time of year, plus he was obviously well srapped up. He's 11 not 2. Yes, too young to be out by himself overnight, a human could have attached him but there are hardly jungle cats roaming around the Common.

He's 11, secondary school aged, and again as i've said on another thread, i was getting public transport on my own at that age. Didn't have a choice where I lived as i had to get to school. Probably a little older the first time i went into London on the train to meet people by myself (maybe 12) but not much and my parents weren't neglectful.

Really it depends how responsible and mature the kid is.

Do foxes really eat 11 year Olds? There have been isolated cases of them biting infants whiich obviously is very serious because of the relative sizes of the mammals but an 11 year old would be big enough to fight back to a certain extent.

Not saying it would be pleasant, they might be injured, certainly need a tetanus shot but i doubt it would be life threatening. I doubt a fox would attack unless attacked first anyway.

People (including children) do survive camping trips you know.

I do like Hollyoaks by the way, i'm not a 'defend EE no matter what' poster but i don't think a lot of your criticisms actually make sense. Also, why must we put the two shows in battle with each other.
