I know Masood has taken up running, but does anyone else find it suspicious that of all the places he could have ran to, it was to Lucy's death site?

Not really if it is the largest, closest 'country' kind of place close to the Square. Most people would rather run on a Common or round a Park than on road after road.

But in his uniform with the bag of mail?

He'll deliver to other places other than the square, you had to walk through the common to get to the flats that Lucy was letting didn't you?

Possible he had an idea that Bobby was there? But I do agree, little suspicious.

Granted, but I was sure that Lucy's deathplace was off the beaten track, so to speak, as she was discovered by chance, i.e. not on the route most people would go

Very clever KKK. I didn't think of that! Maybe he buries junk mail there as a trophy.

I suppose he just fancied a run on the local common, which has only just been mentioned until this year...

Didn't the police conclude that her body was moved to where it was found after she was already dead?

Maybe the twist is they worked in tandem like in Scream.

Well I say deathspot, you know what I mean and in any event, it is still off the beaten path

Yes, I thought it was very interestingly placed into the episode. I half expected there to a little twist once the police car drove away.

I didn't.

I didn't know whether Masood had been "on the common" as in around the place or specifically the spot where Lucy's body was found.

weren't the flats on walford common newly built so maybe why it wasn't a "beaten" path so to speak

yes they did conclude that someone said but if it was a head injury, like gemma in emmerdale she could of fallen there.

That is odder - was out of the room for that bit.

Maybe part of his round is on the other side of the Common and he just thought he'd try and exercise whilst crossing it?

Of course anything could indicate guilt, they're still toying with us and i'm ruling nobody out but i don't think his being on the Common is a massive clue.

Those post bags are surprisingly roomy.

Yeah, the same bit where she was found, it was mentioned in passing by Jane

Lucy's dump-zone can't be off the beaten path: a small child out walking with her grandfather found it first thing the morning after! And Kush mentioned a few days ago that running with the bag would count as that weight deely some guys use when they run (like what Ray was wearing when he was stopped and searched in that blink-and-you'll-miss-it racism story).

Yeah, I remember the weight thing, but wasn't it stated that the Common was quite popular for commuters and walkers? Ergo, body should have been discovered earlier, even being a Saturday

The girl was on an Easter hunt with her granddad, wasn't she? So it's possible she went away from the usual paths to look for something and I agree, Masood was most likely using his postal round as exercise since it's been mentioned so many times about him trying to get fit.

Almost too many times. his round does seem to have expanded, used to just be Albert Square - no wonder he needs to get fitter if they are giving him more places to go
