EE: Bobby... How unrealistic

As if Jane wouldn't call Ian to discuss this before sending him off to meet his dad
As if Jane wouldn't call Ian to arrange picking him up at the correct time etc
As if Jane wouldn't call Ian to check he'd got there safe
As if Masood wouldn't have seen him before.. Why would he randomly find him just after his disappearance was announced..
And not to mention that Bobby somehow managed to look after himself with enough food, water etc...
It feeeeeels so false lol

Rant over xD

Just to point out Kids of Bobby age are very clever. Usually when Kids run away they do bring food and drink and nightwear.

I agree with all the above apart from the last two. Why would Masood have found him earlier? Masood was jogging (I don't think he was actively looking for him) and happened to come across him in the Common. I'm not sure what you mean when you say why didn't he see him before?

Bobby had only been there one night and it was said that he pre-planned it with Tiffany so he took enough provisions for however long he thought he was going to be there for.

Jane did try to call Ian to check Bobby had arrived safely but he wasn't answering his phone. That's what prompted her to come back to Walford.

Jane probably saw the emails from 'Ian' and thought they were legit. Bobby is 11 - not everyone would let their child travel alone at that age but some do on the proviso they're being picked up at the other end. It depends on the child.

Masood only started jogging in Monday's episode. He doesn't normally go to the Common.

Bobby was only missing for one night. Unless he was anorexic to start with or sleeping naked it's unlikely the elements and a lack of food for one night would do him too much harm. He did have a sleeping bag, hat, coat etc.

Sleeping in the middle of a wood wasn't very clever.

Bobby also pointed out he wanted to be near her sister and usually that would bring a person to a place where she died. Bobby wouldn't go to the grave because he knows that she didn't die there but did die in the woods. That explains why bobby was staying in the woods but don't forget in actual real life he probably only stayed there for about 5-10 minutes

I work with kids and I know how clever they are. In matter of fact Kids are alot smarter then Adults so don't ever contradict me again

So let me get this straight, Jane sent Bobby on his own to London, despite not talking to Ian, how stupid do they think we are, shoehorning Jane into a storyline is starting to grate.

I'm jumping in.

1 - Lucy never died at the common. She died somewhere else and her body was moved there.

2 - Yes kids are smart but not smarter then adults. That makes no sense. So you are saying kids are very smart but when they hit adulthood they're smartness goes away? Because you did say 'kids are smarter then adults' meaning adults where smart as kids but not smart as adults.

We have to teach kids a lot. Adults teach kids not the other way round. Kids are not smarter then adults. And don't tell people to 'never contradict you again'. No one contradicted you. If anything you contradicted yourself.

You'd think she'd have noticed the sleeping bag.

It was one night. Jane said he'd set off on the train that morning. Ian said he hadn't heard from Bobby in a week.
