I liked Donna. My only complaint about her was that I wanted a volume control that would lower the volume by about 50% whenever she talked (she was waaaay too loud). Other than that, I liked her just fine.

Donna was an odd one for me. I loved her when she did the dramatic stuff. I was surprised at how good Catherine Tate was at it. But I wanted to slap her into next week whenever she went into "comedy shout mode."

Agreed I couldn't stand the exaggerated comedy shouty routine and can't understand why anybody would like it. The best thing she did was leave after one series.

What sort of accent was she meant to be doing anyway?

I have never heard any real people talk like tghat.

People keep saying "Donna didn't fall in love with the doctor" like its a good thing.
Personally, I like a bit of sexual tension on the TARDIS whether it's the Rose romance, Martha's infatuation, Amy's flirtations or Clara's crush.

I really liked Donna. She was a refreshing change from for the doe eyed, fawning companions he usually has, Martha was desperate for him to fall in love with her and Clara has been almost as as much at least until Capaldi and Danny showed up and we had to sit through all her Danny's-my-boyfriend crap so Donna's no nonsense approach was a real shot in the arm.

I don't like the CT show and absolutely hated the idea of her becoming a companion but she turned me around.
