Coronation Street, Wednesday 26.11.2014, 7:30pm - Pink Cadillac
Plush velvet seats, riding in the back....... ahhhh memories! Hi viewers, and welcome to this Wednesday's Coronation Street midweek episode discussion thread. Less than an hour to go, and there's already news of strange behaviour on the cobbles.......
Spoiler
ON THIS DAY IN CORRIE HISTORY A SERIES BY agatha 26 November 1980 (begins with A Little Toerag and Kimono Ken's in it too) http://youtu.be/RxGy8-OFm-4 The Midweek Ratings Poll will appear as usual after the episode has aired, so if you can just hang on two minutes as the credits roll, you can rate this episode out of 10 and experience true democracy. Last Wednesday's episode was judged to be almost universally awful, scoring just 3 out of 10 exactly on mean average! Ciao! |

Thanks for the thread Aggie
![]() I see Mr. B went for a 1986 Gwen Guthrie track and you've plumped for a 1987 Natalie Cole track. Strangely enough both peaked at Number 5..... Hi all!

The Corrie Challenge - December Game
Cobbleheads!
The end of November will soon be here so it’s time to start thinking about submitting a team for December’s Corrie Challenge game Don’t worry if you have played before. The game is a bit like a simplified version of Fantasy Football so if you fancy having a go just read the rules below. And, if you're an Emmerdale viewer you can play the Emmerdale version of the game. Just check out any of this week's "Emmerdaily" thread for instructions. Anyway, it’s a very easy game to play. The object of the game is to pick a team of 11 characters from those listed below which you think will score the more points than the other people playing the game. Once you’ve whittled your shortlist down to 11 characters you will then need to nominate one of them as Captain. This character will have their score doubled so you’re really looking to identify the character which you think will score the most points during the month to maximise your chances of winning. Then, simply post your choices on the thread or send them to me via PM, and keep an eye out for the Monday Episode Thread to see how your “team” is doing in the score updates. The scoring system works as follows:- + 1 point per episode appearance + 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode. + 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode before the break. + 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode after the break + 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode. + 1 point for any kisses on the lips. If you have both characters who kiss in your team each character will receive a point. + 2 bonus points for any character that appears in 5 or more episodes during the week. In the event of any episodes being transmitted on a weekend the week will run from Monday to Sunday. + Remember that your team Captain gets their score doubled!!! Once you’ve done all that you can also pick a name for your team. This will be listed in the Score Updates. Your “Starting List” for December’s Corrie Challenge is as follows:- • Remember you need to select ELEVEN characters (including a captain) – no more, no less. The Rovers Steve Liz Michelle Tony Number One Ken Deirdre Tracy Amy Number Three Emily Norris Number Five Chesney Sinead Kirk Beth Craig Number Seven Dev Asha Aadi Number Nine Tyrone Number Eleven Eileen Sean Jason Todd Number Thirteen Kevin Sawfie Maddie The Kabin Flats Julie Rita The Platts Gail Nick David Kylie Max Audrey The Armstrong-Windasses Anna Owen Gary Izzy Faye The Websters Sally Tim The Salon Flat Maria Streetcars Flat Lloyd Andrea The Flats Katy Steph Carla Kebab Shop Flat Eva Leanne Simon Roy’s Rolls Roy The Nazir’s Kal Yasmeen Sharif Alya Zeedan Others Luke Mary Callum Michael Gavin The deadline for teams to be submitted is: Monday 01 December at 7:30pm |

So is gavin gonna turn out to be bad boy? Yesterday when Michael was telling him about gail selling the house to David and kylie which isn't true since its not hers, but I saw the look on gavin's face when he thought she had money.

Lovely Liz's pep talk goes unheard, all he seems to want to do is moon over that preposterous "car" he bought the other day
.......... even Lloyd can't get through to Steve, but the weirdness escalates after Tirrone tells him that the repairs for his car will be TWO GRAND
which is more than the car is worth, but Steve tells him to go ahead and he'll pay for the repairs!.......... but that isn't all - Liz manages to contrive the shift patterns so that Michelle and Steve are working together again, hoping for a consolation
...........
Michael rings him to find out why, and Our Gav throws a bit of a strop and says they shouldn't see each other again
can Michael change his mind?...........
.........
