Seriously ITV STOP making Emmerdale the Nadine Coyle to Corrie's Cheryl Fernadanz-blah..Cole. We all know which one is totally loaded with talent and which one is totally loaded with a good PR machine.

What is happening at Crimbo in the village, apart from the wedding obviously.

They do seem to stupidly favour Corrie more don't they? This and then just corrie celebrating ITV's 60th year on air with an live ep, where's emmerdale's? If it was Corrie's own anniversary then fair enough but it's not

ED hasn't had anywhere near as much promotion as it should.

It sounds like the Christmas eps will be mostly centred around the Katie/Andy wedding which doesn't exactly leave me salivating in anticipation, to be honest.

I'd rather not see the videos. I haven't and wont' watch Corrie's (through fear of boredom). For Ed, I can wait until Xmas Day to see what happens, (or Boxing Day as I don't watch TV on Xmas Day).

I read spoilers but won't watch them as they are different.

Spoiler

Emmerdale is shoved to 6pm on Christmas Day when half the country is having a kip.
Not surprisingly it rates very poorly, so no wonder ITV are not wasting money on a very low rating episode.

And it's usually up against the pitiful kiddie's favourite 'Dr Who'.

Last years show got the lowest ratings of the entire year. This year ratings are even lower and falling at a time of year when they should be on the up.
It wont surprise me if they fall below a shocking 3 million so this is why they are filling it with more dteadful,, boring wedding rubbish filler.
Still no matter how terrible a job Kate Oates has done in driving away so many viewers and ed ds fans deserting this forum in their droves her job seems safe for some reason.
