Why would anyone vote for Kendra to do a trial, knowing full well that she is not even going to attempt it. I don't blame her if she doesn't want to do them as I certainly would not attempt any of them either, but it is ridiculous for viewers to waste their time and money voting for her to waste good viewing minutes whining about the trial.

It is the voters who are spoiling the show by voting for her to get airtime that she doesn't deserve and that is not worth watching.

Agreed, sick of seeing her not even attempting trials. I thought after her latest lame effort the public would finally see sense but no, they must enjoy wasting their money for such little entertainment.

So the camp mates starve, starving camp mates equal juicy arguments. She gets my vote.

Maybe they are hoping she will get her act together and stop whining. Fat chance, though; she obviously is the kind of person who just gets what she wants by simpering and whining.

Why would you even go into the Jungle, not being prepared to do any of the trials?

I think perhaps the public vote her to do the trials just to see a) how far they can push her and b) what the camp reaction will be to starvation...

Nadia is just as fearful as Kendra but we won't get the chance .

It's the lack of imagination that annoys me. This isn't against Kendra per se, just can't understand why voters want to see the same person behaving the same way with the same result over and over. I'm curious about the other camp mates, to see how Michael fares or what Vicki would be like on a trial, for example. How refreshing were the two nights we saw Mel and Jake perform; not just because they did so well, but to see more of them and how they tick.

People just don't care how many bloody stars Kendra gets the less she gets the better, I would rather she flat out refuses to do the trials and they get no extra meals for camp, Oh and just to pi*s off Ant and Dec as well.....

Why did you vote for Kendra to do another trial? I'm interested to know what it is you enjoy about picking her again rather than seeing what somebody else could do.

I don't like it either - perhaps it's just a lack of an agreed upon other to vote for to do the trials?

I do wish they'd prevent the same people from doing a trial twice in a row; even if it resulted in the same two people doing it, it would be infinitely more interesting than just one.

Me? Because I know she will do rubbish which means the camp mates will starve and starving camp mates, as is being proved, leads to arguments.

The producers could have helped by not winding Kendra's stars up so far. No doubt they wanted her to fail to continue the camp misery.

And when you ask about the voting public, don't forget they voted for Biggins and Kerry Katona to win.

Yes, they need some kind of rule like that to prevent the main part of the show becoming a borefest .

We know now exactly whats going to happen for each BTT for the next few weeks .
Yet we've no idea how Nadia, Vicky, Micheal , Edwina etc would do .

The majority don't want a well fed, happy clappy camp.
I doubt Foggy, Jake or Mel will get another task while the public are voting.

I agree, that was so unneccessay and why did they put a time limit for each one, instead of the usual 10 mins to get as many as possible . She could have got at least 4 or 5 if they didn't put a time limit for each star .

I am so sick of seeing Kendra picked night after night that I have decided not to watch it again. It's the same every year, and it gets boring and so dull.

I really like the nights when they are well fed and happy, especially if they give them a drink too. I know conflict, be it natural or manipulated, is the crux of all reality TV nowadays , but I would rather see harmony and communication between camp mates; far more revealing of their true natures than any rows borne out of hunger or resentment.

That was pretty suspect.

Considering she could only use her mouth/tongue to turn them..they were screwed on way too much . I'd have thought 5 turns maximum is what it should have taken. The ones you have to turn with your hands aren't usually even twisted down that far.

That's cool. Many people like shows like these for a variety of reasons.

I would certainly like to see how other characters would perform but I would be wasting money voting for them.

Kendra did well in the eating task and I am puzzled that she got the next task as well.

Of course the producers could easily solve this by changing the rules but they refuse to do so.

They could save themselves some money and just imagine Kendra saying "eww, omg, eww, omg" over and over.

Why don't people understand that the public have no choice?

We are TOLD who to vote for - plain and simple. If they want us to stop voting for the attention seekers, they need to show the other celebrities in the camp. Show them being nasty, or really shove them to the forefront of the episode, otherwise, you end up with 20% of the public voting for Kendra, whilst the other 80% are thinking "I have nine choices, who the hell stands the best chance of beating Kendra's vote?" and those 80% end up splitting the vote between nine celebrities because there's no other obvious choice, so they end up wasting their money and are unsuccessful in their attempt of not having Kendra do another trial.

There's no point in voting for the trials because we don't really get to decide at all.

Good post and I agree with your assessment on how the show works. It's all about manipulating the voters to get the results they want. It's very similar to the other point made about the stars being tightly wound up and a very short time limit put on it so that Kendra had very little chance of winning. This is all to cause conflict in the camp.

Every year there is always an easy scapegoat who either goes all out and wins everything in every task and the camp is too harmonious, or it's one who wimps out and does nothing and therefore causes friction. Kendra is this year's choice.

I think an example of this would be if Kendra was unwell and we seen nothing of her for the whole episode. I very much doubt she'd be chosen to do the task.

I agree. And I really enjoy seeing someone get stuck into the trial. Even if they don't do that well, it's good to see someone giving it a go.

I fail to see any entertainment value in Kendra just going 'eww that's gross I can't do it' night after night.
