Why would people vote for Kendra? Because she is annoying and is over the top with the amount of fuss that she makes. If she just got on with it and actually put some thought and effort into the task people would stop voting for her but she doesn't.

Shocking isn't it...I mean it's not like we have ever seen this before is it?

Why the producers don't do the obvious thing by exempting someone from a second trial until the rest have all done one each?

It's not for the phone revenue is pretty minimal in the scheme of things...I tell you how they would change it...if we all started to e mail Iceland and telling them they are wasting their money, we are switching off from watching and are less inclined to shop there because the show they are sponsoring is sooo dull and repetitive.

Rather than let the public vote which lets face it does not work, pick those for the trials by a lucky dip each day, that would add an element of surprise and fear for the campmates and give everyone a fair chance of doing a trial, this hampering situation arises year after year and is clearly not working in its present format, its just placing the programme into standby as we are stuck night after night with the same boring person unable to do a trial and I am surprised that the producers have not realised this ? there could still be a revenue earning phone in but for a lucky dip token rather than a particular person, the tokens could then be counted automatically against that celebrity but nobody would know which one it was until announced the next day,it would be a random thing rather than just the public wanting to place a celebrity for trial because they did not like them.

Me? Because I know she will do rubbish which means the camp mates will starve and starving camp mates, as is being proved, leads to arguments.
I love a good argument so I do.
The biggest argument of the series was the night they had 10 meals to look forward to and a drink each. And I think the night before they had 9 meals?

The voting public do what they always do which is punish people they don't like and enjoy seeing them fail. If she doesn't want to be voted for she should try to be less 'MEMEMEMEMEMEME'.

Most reality shows are just a freak show, and Kendra's really no exception. People watch to see her outrageous reactions and to go back to camp with little to no stars.

Personally, that kind of person has no interest for me and I hope she goes really soon.

Agreed, it's so annoying. But what I find odd is the anomaly for the live trial. I find it odd that among Kendra's trials (4 or 5?), that she didn't even come in the Top 2 for the live trial, the Top 2 were Jake and Jimmy... I can't remember, was she completely absent that day from the edit that day?

I don't get this way of thinking. Seems like a piss poor pay-off to me.

half the show revolves around something to do with trials and the rest is "other stuff", a row if it happens gives all of 5 minutes air time if you're lucky, followed by a few 15 second sound bites. When its hunger induced it tends to be bickering with maybe a bit of swearing and then all forgotten about as it was stupid in the first place.

You're sacrificing a big chunk of the show for a 5 minute, sub par pay-off basically.

Who is Kendra? ..I had to Google her name to find out and found that slept with a man old enough to her grandfather......urggghhh!!!!! BUT why is famous for that...does not make any sense.

Anyway, it would not be so bad if this flibbertigibbet actually pulled her weight and tried to get some stars. To me she is an annoying little child, who has never grown up.....talk about 'mememememe' all the time.

The more she is shown on TV, the more boring the show becomes..

Why would anyone vote for Kendra to do a trial, knowing full well that she is not even going to attempt it. I don't blame her if she doesn't want to do them as I certainly would not attempt any of them either, but it is ridiculous for viewers to waste their time and money voting for her to waste good viewing minutes whining about the trial.

It is the voters who are spoiling the show by voting for her to get airtime that she doesn't deserve and that is not worth watching.
she agreed to go in there. she hardly even tries. that's her own fault. they're getting too much food so they need to starve just like all the people that were in there before. do people really want to see jake go through them easily and get 10 stars? no entertainment in that at all. at least it's funny to see kendra suffer and bring back one star.

got a feeling they'll bring in an extra special easy one for kendra to do anyway.

So the camp mates starve, starving camp mates equal juicy arguments. She gets my vote.
This exactly.

A happy, fed camp is boring viewing

I don't find "I can't do it" entertaining, nor does Kendra suffer at all, she doesn't even get stuck in. She spends most of the time deliberating over whether to do it and the rest testing the water with whether she will actually do it, before quitting.

How about Jimmy? He would suffer as he is visibly afraid of similar things, but will throw himself into it. Wouldn't that be more entertaining?

Also, in practice, as Jimmy has fears like Kendra does, he isn't likely to ace trials. I think he would be far better value.

Bored with the eating tasks and things that go bump in the night.
The problem with celebrity shows is we all have a preconceived idea of who we like or dislike (that's why I prefer bb rather than cbb)
A survivor type show with All contestants participating would be better.
I wonder if the celebrities could nominate who they want up for a task and the public make the final choice - make a change anyway.

As was suggested on another thread, the simple way to prevent the same 'celeb' attempting the trials every time, is to make it that whoever does a trial one day is automatically exempt for the next. That would give viewers at least every other day to see what the others could do!

I agree. I'd rather see anyone give it a go, despite their fears than just see her going 'eww gross' night after night. It's the height of boring tv for me.

In fact, I found Jake and Mel breezing their trials a million times better viewing than seeing Kendra wuss out every bloody night

Perhaps the voters want to see Squash do it on ITV2
