Its about time this show moved from the tame jungle of Australia to somewhere more tougher like Antarctica now that would be a challenge, it would be good to see a survival type show in a cold climate, what do you think?.....

Do they have jungles in Antarctica?

Yes it's a good idea.

Wasn't there already an ITV show that did it in the Arctic? 64 Degrees North(?) I think it was called, and it failed. I've always thought they should try it in another country though.

The fact that you can hear Jimmy shouting at Joe Swash on ITV2 makes a mockery of the whole jungle isolation thing. They might just as well be on a film set in Elstree.

No need for a jungle, but Antarctica is classed as a desert, I just think if would be a great format just to watch a group of people surviving in such inhospitable conditions if the great explores of the last century could do it people like Shackleton, who managed to build a hut and survive it would be good to watch others give it a go.....

It's not really a jungle . I expect to see large animals roaming in a jungle . It's seems just like a forest . They don't even seem to get any mosquitos .

Yes there was. It was called 71 Degrees North. You're right, it was a failure. Cancelled after 2 series.

They have put too much money into the infrastructure to move it,I understand they even rent it out to other organisations as well.

I would imagine the risks of doing something like that for real would make it too dangerous to be viable. It would only be a matter of time before something horrible happened.

Likewise, they aren't going to do that.

They'd never do that, partly because there'd be no opportunity for glimpses of half-naked "celebrities" but also because the conditions in Antarctica would probably be more dangerous.
