On the spin-off show everyone who's appeared on it has gone on about what a great laugh he is ... major big-up's

Have I missed something ?

IS he really as 'hilarious' as he's being made out to be ?

I haven't laughed once at anything he's done. He's a nice chilled out guy- but he's not funny IMO.

They are just pushing him to win. To be fair he makes an effort of sorts. He can't be everyone's cup of tea.
He's got that Essex accent and cheeky chappy persona the public are meant to love.

He may not provide the laugh out loud humour or dry wit that you would normally constitute as 'hilarious' but I find him to be a totally compelling, amusing and humorous watch. I love him.

He's about as funny as his mate on ITV (Rob Beckett).

Thankfully, no one is buying his tired old routine anymore.

No, not at all. He just comes across as a complete buffoon to me. His popularity and alleged 'hilarity' have totally baffled me.

He's the class clown. Popular, amusing, but (usually) ultimately irrelevant. http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...&defid=4056548

he was well coached beforehand i imagine and why the hell is he getting so much airtime.family meetings and overnight with foggy. Why are these two getting picked for everything? As a viewer,i don't like him.

In saying that,if i was in there,i would probably appreciate the light relief he provides at times.

One of the most naturally funny people I've ever seen on tv, I knew he was funny from his football days but that was more 'doing' funny things.

Everybody's sense of humour is different though

They are just pushing him to win. To be fair he makes an effort of sorts. He can't be everyone's cup of tea.

That's an East London accent. All this Orange Essex lot are trying to emulate his accent

He has that "cartoon character" thing about him. I only have to look at him half the time and he makes me laugh.

But he does come out with some good one liners too. When Kendra bit into the fish eye and brown stuff oozed from her mouth, he said "Didn't see her put brown sauce on that!" - funniest moment of the show for me!

He has provided a few funny moments but he's beginning to annoy me now.

Jimmy is likely to win because he slots into the IAC male winner prototype. (Cheeky chappy, working class boy done good). Needs to calm down for me and bring out his style of humour a little less

He's a bit too Carry On for me. I find Foggy funnier, although he says little he has a very dry SOH. (also Michael talking about Jimmy Savile yesterday )

I don't find him funny at all. I can't believe the two firm favourites are absolute tossers who are being pushed for the win. It's looking like the only one who can stop them is Mel. Do you know what I mean?

Yes I agree. I thought he was unwittingly funny at the beginning, but I now I think it's all a bit too try hard.

As for Michael? That was a brilliant quip from him and so unexpected considering they were all so serious discussing their regrets (including himself of course).

I have to admit that Jimmy and Foggy are making this show for me.

It's all about the banter and light relief they bring.

Great double act indeed !!

He's OK, but I don't understand why people rave about him. He's not that amusing, he's just laddish.

ITV like him, though, if there's a luxurious treat or a special task they'll make sure they'll pick him for it.

Everyone has their faves that others dont understand the appeal.

I just think they are light relief in a dire situation.

I did find him naturally funny in the beginning, not so much now as it comes across as trying too hard. Plus he's getting too much airtime ( Not his fault I know ) especially when you have the Producers singling him and Foggy out for a trial. Only my opinion of course.

Jake's another one who is trying too hard. He's bounding about getting to the front of everything, and why does he seem to be the bush telegraph's spokesperson? He was shown on numerous occasions in it last night!

Tinchy is getting the raw deal when it comes to airtime. I guess that's why they finally gave him something to do.
