I don't find him funny either. Laughed though when Michael said that he wished he'd pushed Jimmy Savile.

I did find him naturally funny in the beginning, not so much now as it comes across as trying too hard. Plus he's getting too much airtime ( Not his fault I know ) especially when you have the Producers singling him and Foggy out for a trial. Only my opinion of course.

Jake's another one who is trying too hard. He's bounding about getting to the front of everything, and why does he seem to be the bush telegraph's spokesperson? He was shown on numerous occasions in it last night!

Tinchy is getting the raw deal when it comes to airtime. I guess that's why they finally gave him something to do.
I agree with all of this. I still do find Jimmy funny (or some of the things he does/says funny) but while it was fresh at first - he is trying too hard now. Jake tries too hard (but he has from day one) I think he's a nice lad but I find him dreadfully bland and boring.

Of them all I think Carl is my favourite with regard to humour - I just get him - he's so dry. He reminds me so much of Eric Bristow a few years back - and I hope he gets through to the last four.

I agree - Tinchy is getting a rough deal - maybe he's just naturally shy though and is very quiet.

I enjoyed the talk around the camp-fire last night - with Michael revealing a bit more about himself - I'd like more of this from all of them (although I think we've heard enough from Kendra - even though I still quite like her).

I don't find him funny, I can see how some people do though, the sort of people that use to find Paul Gascoigne funny when he knocked on people doors doing the washing powder challenge and wore silly wigs and comedy breasts

I don't know about Jimmy being hilarious but the joke Ant and Dec made about Sarah Jessica Parker playing Jimmy in a film made me spit out my drink laughing.

Good point. He comes across as as a Gazza wannabe. Gazza wasn't that funny, and Jimmy Bullard is even less so. You can't just prank your way to victory, can you?

Not particularly. He, Foggy and Jake really grate on me most of the time, with their childish unfunny pranks. His whinging cowardice in tasks is tedious and last night equalled Kendra's.

Not at all. He's performing all the time and it's becoming tedious. If I was in there with him I'd be wanting him to go away somewhere with Kendra and shut up.

He seems like a nice guy, but he gets way too much airtime. And I don't patricularly find him funny. He's just as bad as Kendra at the trials, and I think if he was in her position he would be just as squeamish.

He seems a decent chap and has a good sense of humour. Rather that than the personality free zone that is Tinchy. His fake silent laugh is a tad cringe though

I find the unintentional things he does funny, like singing Sweet Home Alabama when clinging to Foggy's neck.

I like that he doesn't use humour to put others down, and is able to laugh at himself more than at others, so he's been a great addition to the camp that without him would probably be a borefest of Kendra's self involvement and Mel getting snappy out of nowhere.

He is going to win unfortunately seeing how much they are pushing him

Didn't take his football seriously choosing to clown around most of the time

Think Craig may have pushed him had he still been there, but Bullard is going to win this at a canter

Me too - Jimmy was very girly when they were in the hut with all the critters

and now we find out he wants to leave because he doesn't feel "safe"

Now that is hilarious.

BTW, wimps don't win this show. And no amount of editing and air-time is going to fool the viewers.

Michael probably waited days to come out with that.

I wouldn't know?

In fact outside of him, Foggy, Jake and Kendra, what are the rest of the camp actually like? How would any of us really know ?

Jimmy is ok. I have never been into slapstick or practical jokes humour but everyone to his or her own. I prefer subtle more dry humour. But Jimmy's type of humour is working in camp and keeping the rest upbeat so dont knock it

Yes, Michael is much more my cup of tea.

Mine too .....I like subtle/intelligent. Slapstick is not my thing.

Neither is voting for Kendra.....again

I wouldn't call him "hilarious", but I do enjoy his antics.

Confused at some people finding him "fake" or tryhard. He's been well known for being a practical joker throughout his entire football career. He's ALWAYS been a bit loopy! Bullard clowns around, it's exactly who he is.

They are just pushing him to win. To be fair he makes an effort of sorts. He can't be everyone's cup of tea.
He's got that Essex accent and cheeky chappy persona the public are meant to love.
Sorry but Jimmy's accent is not 'Essex'; he comes from East London. Cheeky chappy I agree, but they can get a bit trying after a while, can't they?
