Spoilers rephrased from ITV.com, as per usual. Despite there being 90 minutes of Emmerdale tonight, they gave the same amount, hence my ditty being no longer than usual.

Part, the first

Spoiler

Part, the second:

Spoiler

And a good evening to one and all.

Early as promised. Keep it bumped, folks.

I was going to have a poll this week to decide which Xmas tunes to use throughout December, but hardly anyone nominated, so I’ll use what I get and fill in the rest my self. Prepare yourselves for David Essex. You have been warned. Anyway, for tonight’s mega-show special, when there will be four ad breaks, all the tunes are from one person. Any special requests for December, PM them. Preference will be given to more obscure Xmas tunes.

He's probs gone off out now, so allow me to step in, lol. TOTP performances are always preferred, but a 'live' performance (as opposed to a vid) will sometimes suffice, (particularly if he's desperate). (I notice he says preference will be given to the more obscure Xmas songs, so strong possibility they won't be on TOTP, otherwise they wouldn't be obscure).

A quick hello and I wish you all luck on this trial night

Wait until I tell my Uncle it is on that long

As I am never here on Thursdays I was tempted to get Gulf to pick the worse songs in history to torture you all

Right shopping is about to arrive then I have to wash the dishes

I hope to see you all tomorrow

Evening all again. Thanks for the bumping.

And thanks to Olds for explaining the rules of the Ad Break disco. She is spot on. Videos are a no-no, unless it's a special occasion.

Evening/afternoon everyone fab ditties Gulfie

I've had an awful afternoon, I am so very annoyed. I was clipping a yorkie that wouldn't sit still and accidentally cut a chunk out of my own hair. I let out a very loud string of profanities a sailor would be proud of without realising the door was wide open. God knows what the neighbours must of thought, and it didn't help that the dog's owner showed up seconds later, I'm sure they must of heard me and wondered what I'd done to their dog.

Your own hair??

Where was the Yorkie when you were clipping him? On your shoulders? Are you some kind of pirate who prefers dogs to parrots?

Thanks for the thread and ditties Gulfie

Not sure about a 90 minute slice of Dales Drama in the same evening. Seems a little excessive.

Dailians!

The end of November will soon be here so it’s time to start thinking about submitting a team for December’s ‘Daily Challenge game

Don’t worry if you haven’t played before. Just read the rules below and get posting. You might end up top of the Leaderboard with your first attempt! New players are always welcome.

It’s a very easy game to play. The object of the game is to pick a team of 11 characters from those listed below which you think will score the more points than the other people playing the game.

New players will need to pick a name for their team. Those of you who played in the ‘Daily Challenge last month can retain the same name or change it (if you think you’ve thought of something better.)

Once you’ve whittled your shortlist down to 11 characters you will then need to nominate one of them as Captain. This character will have their score doubled so you’re really looking to identify the character which you think will score the most points during the month to maximise your chances of winning.

Then, simply post your choices on the thread or send them to me via PM, and keep an eye out for the Monday ‘Daily to see how your “team” is doing in the score updates.

The scoring system works as follows:-

+ 1 point per episode appearance

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode.

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode before the break.

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode after the break

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode.

+ 1 point for any kisses on the lips. If you have both characters who kiss in your team each character will receive a point.

+ 2 bonus points for any character that appears in 6 or more episodes during the week. In the event of any episodes being transmitted on a weekend the week will run from Monday to Sunday.

+ Remember that your team Captain gets their score doubled!!!

Your “Starting List” for December’s ‘Daily Challenge is as follows:-

Remember you need to select ELEVEN characters (including a captain) – no more, no less. *
