Retention or Exiisting Customer Deals For those on SIM Only?
I was thinking of getting a SIM only contract until I decide if I want a long contract and who with. I was wondering if any networks have been known to offer better deals to customers leaving SIM only, or whether the existing customer deals apply to customers on SIM only. I was thinking particularly of Orange who seem to have had some decent deals for existing customers on the blackboards they sometimes display.

Geez bro. Just make one thread.
We don't need an update every time you consider leaving Virgin... |

Geez (sic) "bro". Where do you see the word "Virgin" in the thread title or the OP?
The query has nothing to do with Virgin or my experience with them - its about what might happen if I decide to leave a SIM only contract with any operator in future vis-a-vis retention deals. That's an entirely different topic to any I see on here, hence the new thread. As the etiquette goes, new topic, new thread. Now we've cleared that up can you actually answer the question, or do you only have smart remarks to offer? |

try uswitch.com
http://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/compare/sim_only_deals/ They are generally ok as ot give a guide of what else is available. I have used them as a comparison for who has the best deal then I use a cashback website to save even more. |

This week I called Vodafone for a PAC for an out of contract SIM
Offered 50% discount on the 4GB and 7GB SIM only tariffs, and the first month free, discount expires after the 12 month minimum term. I declined. I also spoke to EE on behalf of someone else last week and they were doing 50% off for 6 months, then the remaining time at full price. |
