I only really regularly follow ED and H&A. So I'd go with ED although both aren't great currently.

At a push I'd go with Eastenders. But the way they pick up and then drop story lines does annoy me somewhat. If they drop a SL for weeks on end, at least have a small re-cap when they re-ignite it - cos I can't remember what happened.

Yes, so EE.

I watch EE, Corrie and Hollyoaks.

Eastenders has been very good all year with the Carter family, although somewhat overused, injecting a huge lease of life into an ailing show.

Corrie has been dire for the most part but has recently improved.

Hollyoaks has been so drama-filled and over the top, but can never be accused of being boring. It needs to stop killing people off, though.

I've watched EastEnders, Corrie, Emmerdale & Hollyoaks.

I stopped watching Coronation Street as it was too comedy and less drama at the time, and I just found it boring. Emmerdale I tried for a week a couple of months ago but I found it quite boring.

EastEnders & Hollyoaks are both extremely different and very opposite soaps, which is why I like to watch both of them. Hollyoaks is ridiculous but dramatic, which I like, but has no sense of reality which needs to be balanced IMO. EastEnders runs at a slow pace but is very consistent and realistic. Nothing dramatic ever really happens in EastEnders until the cliffhanger. Between times it's just conversation and the aftermath of the previous episode's cliffhanger, but its just a nice soap to watch.

I watch EastEnders, Hollyoaks & Corrie. I used to watch ED but lost interest in it after that Maxine fail saga.

EastEnders is in a league of its own currently. So many secrets but I love watching it & have consistently followed it this year.

Hollyoaks is OTT but that's what's nice about. I'm enjoying Diane/Tony/Sinead surprisingly. It's nice to have Darren back, I've missed his cheeky-chappiness.

Corrie has improved recently, I don't hold high hopes for it which is why I don't pay much attention to it.

Emmerdale
Shortland Street
EastEnders
Coronation Street
Hollyoaks

In that order, but due to the ebbs and flows of soap stories, my rankings change constantly.

Mine is Emmerdale. EastEnders is too slow paced and the Carter's are overused, which is why I think Emmerdale is the best out of the 4 British soap opera's. It has a good mix of characters, as well as a balance of drama, aftermath, comedy & action. CS is all about the comedy, EE has too much aftermath & tedious conversation whilst HO is all about drama & action.

This is why I prefer Emmerdale atm

Hollyoaks.

I don't know why people are moaning about realism. None of the soaps are realistic these days and all soaps have actually had their day now so why not make it dramatic. It's certainly getting the viewers.

Hollyoaks, followed by Coronation Street. I have stopped watching Emmerdale until it gets a new producer.

Out of the big 3 soaps, EastEnders by far...

However, EastEnders has been and could be miles better!

Don't watch Hollyoaks enough to judge really.
