That was Series 3 (2007).
Cheers dude. Is it possible to watch the classic episodes from the early years on YouTube? I'd love to watch the first ever episode...

Lol, I didn't think someone having lisp is indication of one being gay. He's not camp in the slightest so IF he is gay, I would be taken aback but pleased. He's beautiful.
NOT camp?

How would you define camp?

Ruth from Series 2, Lohit from Series 3 and Harry H from YA2 are all gay. Natasha from Series 7 is bisexual. Those are the only ones I know for sure about, although there will undoubtedly be others. I don't know a great deal about the personal lives of most of the candidates.
Robert from this series is out as was Nick in Series 4.

Yes, the first two series were uploaded by the BBC. This is the first episode:

After Series 2, it's a little more complicated. They used to all be available on YouTube, but this year the producers became really heavy-handed and took lots of it down. Nearly all of Series 3 is gone, and only parts of Series 4 and 5 are available. I think that everything beyond that is still there though, and hopefully those series that have been affected with at some point be re-uploaded.

Of course & his mannerisms are all the qualities of a masculine bloke, NOT a stereotypical gay man. Would like to meet him in person.
He really doesn't come over as masculine. I assumed he was gay immediately and I wouldn't if it hadn't been obvious. As, judging from this thread, did others.

He used to go out with a friend of my sons (male) - I thought it was plainly obvious but maybe it's because I knew.

Your mate's son was very lucky to have landed a hunk of an ex-boyfriend.

Thanks buddy for that link. I'm gonna tune-in to the Pilot now. This was when Margaret was around. Did she leave in 2010/2011 season? I really wish they do re-upload all the episodes from all the seasons. It will be weird to see people calling him "Sir Sugar" instead of Lord. Lol. I never knew he was the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur.

Someone being eccentric, flamboyant in their dress-sense, loud & by their hairstyle.

They actually called him Sir Alan.

Margaret left after the 2009 series (Series 5). After that, there was quite a break from The Apprentice, because of Sugar's elevation to the House of Lords and the BBC had to be neutral during the election. When it came back, he was known as Lord Sugar and Karren had replaced Margaret. Karren actually made her debut as an advisor on Junior Apprentice. She is also an interviewer in Series 4 and 5, in the same capacity that Margaret is now.

Are you aware that Margaret isn't an interviewer this year? She wasn't asked apparently

I didn't know that, but it's such a relief. I didn't like her as an interviewer. She didn't seem to do anything constructive at all, she just read things out from people's CVs and pulled funny faces at them.

I thought Karren made her debut on the celebrity version of The Apprentice. It was for Red Nose Day or some other similar charity cause.

I meant her debut as an advisor.

Yeah, her first actual appearance in any capacity was as a candidate in a one-off celebrity edition for Comic Relief shortly before Series 3. Then in Series 4 she became one of the interviewers, and occasionally was a panelist on You're Fired! Then she took over from Margaret as the female advisor.

Yes, for Comic Relief (just before the airing of the 3rd series, did have to look that up though ).

Anyway, here is the final boardroom of that episode (you can find the other parts on there also):

Hint: He fired someone who has already been mentioned in the boardroom this series

Thanks for that. This show is by far the best reality TV Show to be created to date.

The second episode is not to be missed. It's the first ever 'Project Manager totally ignores the market research and carries on with what they'd already decided from the off anyway', but it's different to all the episodes since in the attitude of the candidates. It was before they realised that they had to protect themselves for the boardroom, so they weren't so bitchy about it. They all tried to remain professional, but you can see a couple of them exchanging incredulous glances, and in the boardroom things kick off.

He's gay?

He hid that well.
It's a shame for him that, even in a year of very underwhelming male candidates, he's still completely unable to hide his inability to walk and chew gum at the same time. Every time I see him the words 'gormless' and 'buffoon' steam out to me from the tv screen in my head. He's doing well to have any sort of a 'partner' male or female if u ask me, talk about 'love being blind'!

I don't find him that attractive but it may be because I find him incredibly negative and an energy drain on the other candidates. He's constantly denigrating other people's ideas but contributing little of worth himself.

Any receipts?

Is he of mixed heritage, btw?
I believe he may be, although I've not heard/read of it being confirmed anywhere. The Sood-Smith is rather telling, (with Sood being a Hindu name). Also, my daughters are an Anglo/Indian blend and Sanjay's colouring is very similar to theirs.
