It would be unusual for him to be named Sanjay if he did not have some Asian heritage. Not impossible, but unlikely.

I don't really find Sanjay attractive, however Mark could most likely charm me into bed....
I find him more attractive by the episode.

Sanjay is really attractive until he opens his mouth...and then that voice comes out
![]() His voice is very similar to Alex Sibley of BB fame which isn't a good thing. |

On the famous side, George Harrison named his son Dhani, an Indian female name. And there's musician Krishna Guthrie (grandson of Arlo Guthrie and great-grandson of Woody Guthrie), a common Indian masculine name and both his parents are white. How about Farrah Fawcett? It's a classic Arabic unisex name, but no trace of the Middle East in her family. It's not that unusual. It's better to rely on surnames than first names to make a guess, anyway. His surname - Sood-Smith - suggests there's Asian heritage in his family. Still doesn't mean he's mixed race, though. I think he is, but I've been wrong a couple of times. I once met a young white guy with Chan as his surname. I assumed one of his paternal ancestors was Chinese therefore he must be mixed race, but it turned out his step-father adopted him and his sister after marrying their widowed mother. Until Sanjay says it himself, no one knows for sure. So be it. |

Eh, I met a woman named Yukio. Not only she has no trace of Japanese heritage in her background, it's a masculine name. Her Scottish white parents simply liked the name. I also met a Chandra and a Jai. No Indian heritage in her and his families, either.

As for offspring of the famous, they name their children after fruit and all sorts of other odd things which doesn't apply to the general population. As far as I'm aware, Sanjay does not have famous musician parents. The fact that both his first name and part of his surname are of Indian origin make it even more probable that it's somehow linked to his ethnicity! Joint probabilities and all that, you can't consider them in isolation. |

Lol, I didn't think someone having lisp is indication of one being gay. He's not camp in the slightest so IF he is gay, I would be taken aback but pleased. He's beautiful.

How is this waste of space still in the process? Had a lucky escape tonight after spending most of the episode fumbling as PM.
Really hope he's in the losing team next week. |

Ruth from Series 2, Lohit from Series 3 and Harry H from YA2 are all gay. Natasha from Series 7 is bisexual. Those are the only ones I know for sure about, although there will undoubtedly be others. I don't know a great deal about the personal lives of most of the candidates.

You've also forgot about Luisa Zissman, but she'd shag anyone if she thought she'd get anything out of it.

It's a shame for him that, even in a year of very underwhelming male candidates, he's still completely unable to hide his inability to walk and chew gum at the same time. Every time I see him the words 'gormless' and 'buffoon' steam out to me from the tv screen in my head. He's doing well to have any sort of a 'partner' male or female if u ask me, talk about 'love being blind'!
