EE Episode Thread - 27/11/14: Drunk Denise's Digging Discovery

Last time I did one of these, I received a PM from a rather irate user informing me that episode threads were for proper discussion of the episode and not silly stories or stupid cast lists. To that end, if you see anyone in this thread having even the slightest bit of fun, please report them to the moderators immediately and ostracize them from the community as best you can The less enjoyable the thread is, the better, folks. ANYWAYS, onto Eastenders. It's been quite an enjoyable week of episodes so far. What with the shocking reveal early in the week that Drunknise is a liar, a morally bereft thief, and a criminal alcohol bootlegger at large. Yet another one for the list of criminals running amok on Albert Square, and no mistake. She could be a very notorious villain if only she wasn't drinking the profits away. The other big story thread of the week concerns Detective Robert 'Bobby' Beale, who escaped the tyranny of Jane, Christian, and Syed to head down to Laaaaaaandan to investigate his sister's death. Interestingly enough, Keeble has extended him a job offer in Walford CID off the back of his detection skills, what swung it for him was that his single reference in his CV was 'not being Summerhayes'. It's a key requirement for great police officers (or even average police officers.) Now, I can't be the only one who is struggling a little bit with Jane's most recent return. I like Jane, but this constant back and forth between Cockney Jane and the Scotch woman off of Waterloo road is most confusing. It was most apparent in this little script snippet from this week: Jane: Och aye, where is ee? Ian: Where's who, love? Jane: Och Bobbeh, ee wis at hame 'n' noo ee's missing! Ian: Erm... help me out with this one love... what's a hame? Jane: Ee tellt me he wur comin' tae see ye, hud it oan th' computer 'n' everything och aye. Ian: I'm sorry love, you've totally lost me... How about I break this mug and we cry and have sex on the floor again? Cindy you might wanna make yourself scarce here, love. Jane: Aye. With that cleared up, here's what is coming up in tonight's Eastenders: Quote:
Denise is shellshocked after finding Lucy's phone and wallet, and has a few gulps of Rioca, to take some of the shock away like. Her discovery doesn't stay secret for long, as when Jay goes to deliver Denise some soup from Patrick, he realises what she has found and immediately calls Ben, hoping not to be noticed as he tiptoes around the rapidly growing pile of empty MinuteMart's own-brand Shiraz bottle. At the same time, Denise talks to Masood about the situation and they both agree that Ian needs to hear the truth, but it could probably wait until after a nice bit of Pinot to soothe their nerves. And finally, tonight's cast list:Soon afterwards, a worried Ben tells Jay that they will have to get the wallet and phone back to destroy the evidence. Jay visits Patrick under the pretence of wanting to help out, and he successfully manages to retrieve both items while 'tidying up'. Unfortunately, Jay is no match for Denise, who staggers blindly after him and manages to get the wallet and phone back. Meanwhile, Ian and Jane argue over Bobby's desire to move back to the Square, not noticing that he's nipped out 'for a pint of milk', with his passport and suitcase packed, wearing a 'I <3 Bali' T-shirt. Jane doesn't trust Ian anymore as she knows about him and Rainie, but he continues to plead for another chance whilst suggestively dangling a perfectly good china mug over the floor, goading her into breaking it for the sex that will inevitably ensue again. Confused over what to do, Jane goes to seek advice from Sharon but ends up confiding in Phil. Because Jane confiding in a Mitchell has gone so well for her in the past. Later, Jane returns to the Beale house with the news that she has decided to move back to the Square but will find somewhere else to live. It's a happy moment at last for the Beales, but one that doesn't last for long when Masood arrives with a bombshell to drop… Denise was on her way to join them but had stopped off at the MinuteMart to check some rota sheets, armed with a wine cooler bag and a bottle opener. Ian Beale, makes Jane squeal ... Adam Woodyatt Drunknise ... Diane Parish Masood Ahmed, wants Jane in his bed ... Nitin Ganatra Jane McBeale och aye ... Laurie Brett King Philip Mitchell, Lord of Walford and Ruler of the Community ... Steve McFadden Bitchell ... Harry Reid Jay Brown, doesn't understand 'bury it underground' ... Jamie Borthwick Patrick Yeah-man ... Rudolph Walker Cindy Williams, stole Phils millions ... Mimi Keene DI Twentyfags ... Alison Newman Detective Chief Inspector Bobert Beale ... Eliot Carrington Executive Producer ... Dominic Treadwell-Collins Director ... Sophie Lifschutz Writer ... Christopher Reason That's all I got folks, enjoy the episode tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One

Great thread, J-B.
![]() I was hoping you'd be able to give me some practical advice, what with you being the alpha male of this forum an' all that. I can't decide whether to watch tonight's episode. I just don't think I'm mentally or emotionally prepared. I didn't sleep a wink after the last two episodes cos Drunknise terrified me so much with her reckless, villainous ways. I've had to down 18 cans of Red Bull in quick succession just to give me the energy to come on here. My sleep deprived state is giving me hallucinations of her coming in my house and nicking my drink. I can't take it any more J-B, I really can't. I'm a nervous wreck and all cos of that Drunknise. |

Perhaps you'd do well to fortify your house as best you can, just in case like. If you need a hand I can probably spare the missus for an hour, she'll come round and shutter up a few windows. Only because I'm good like that. Best of luck, and hopefully we'll all wake up safe and with booze supplies intact tomorrow. |

Lurvely thread Mr B. I'm shocked to my very core at Denise and Bobby's hitherto unseen criminal ways. I don't know where to turn.
