Hutchison prepares bid for o2 or EE

We are basically at the stage at moment where Sprint and T-Mobile US were last year and that deal got call it off because of regulator concerns. So same could happen with this deal or it might not even reach that stage. Not sure why everyone is leaping to conclusions I still think at moment EE is in the best position for next few years.

I wonder if the GPO brand could be resurrected and licensed from the Post Office... or failing that, perhaps the National Telephone Company name is available?
