I'll sound like a right hypocrite here but I'm just being honest... I'm not arsed about the flies and roaches, but I do get a bit upset seeing the rats and lizards freaking out, not good at all.

I agree with you Gina.
Unfortunately a lot of people think that they are fair game because they are only "bugs". Why the hell do they have to kill so many ? |

What's so scary about a load of maggots, rats, roaches, woodlice, flies, ants, snakes, lizards, eels, crabs, scorpions and spiders anyway?
Some of the roaches crawl over them, as do ants who also nip. The flies buzz around their head for a bit. The snakes occasionally stare at the contestant who they see as invading their territory and could be a potential threat. Crabs claw at hands. The rats always look very curious and friendly whenever they see a hand or face pop into their compartment, much like how a hamster would react. A lot of the large lizards seem scared of contestants and keep as far away from them as possible (eg: they reacted like this to Edwina and Tinchy). All the other critters pay no attention to contestants whatsoever and yet these celebrities are scared of them? For Kendra to be scared of lizards when she said that had some as pets is like me saying that I'm scared of chinchillas. IAGMOOH is about as scary as The Care Bears. I reckon I would most dislike walking across that bridge and heights in general. |

I agree with Gina
My motto is - if it feels pain then don't hurt it, how anyone can enjoy watching anything feeling pain is beyond me, I really can't understand it. I also can't understand all the idiots who actually believe they fished all those 'wild' rats out of some sewer, they're tame rats, the same furry hamster like creature you see in pet shops. I hate to see them hurt, scared, plunged in water and trampled on. In one series Gino de campio was made to be some kind of hero for killing a tame rat and eating it, yet if some yob did that at home the press would be baying for animal cruelty charges, no 'normal' person would find that funny, but if it's on 'Celeb' it's hilarious. All animals feel pain just the same, so why is it so funny to see one type of animal suffer while if it was a puppy or a kitten there would be an outcry? . |
