I've never known any other dog who's as partial to soft veg' and fruit as my Spaniel, Connie, is.
I know dogs tend to like crunchy stuff like carrots, apples and pears but Connie loves to eat things like tomatoes, slices of orange and grapes whereas my other dogs spit them out, probably because of the strange texture rather than the taste.

Kinda related, did I read somewhere that it's bad for dogs to eat raw potato?
Just that somebody told me they chop potato peelings into their dog's food and that seemed a bit iffy to me.

Mashed sweet potato with a bit of cottage cheese is a very popular Kong stuffing in my house.

He's fond of munching on eggshell too for some reason

Yeah, I do recall reading that grapes aren't good for dogs.

I can't help thinking it's a bit like the whole "ZOMG! chololate is POISON for dogs!!!!" thing though.
Sure, if a dog eats a lot of something, it might be a bad idea but a tiny corner of a biscuit or half a grape probably isn't going to be a big deal.
Course, there's no good reason why you should give a dog that stuff either but, y'know...

One thing that I heard, recently, was that it's the processes we use to create food which is most harmful to dogs.
Basically, if a dog is eating stuff that is similar to something it could have found lying on the ground a thousand years ago then it's probably okay whereas food that's been created by man-made processes (such as dairy products and bread for example) can cause problems because a dog can't break them down efficiently to get energy and that's why they end up fat.

Chocolate IS toxic to dogs though... Its the theobromine compounds in chocolate that poisons them

Our dog a GSP (pointer) goes crazy for cheddar cheese. He's eat the entire packet if he could.

My dogs eat anything. They're both 5 and in those 5 years we've had one turn his nose up at one thing ( a raw cod fillet) and that's it. Everything else is gone in seconds.

Favourites? Bailey loves an apple. He'll do anything for an apple. My other dog doesn't really have a favourite. He just likes his food.

I'm really strict with their diet though. This year they have an advent calendar which my Aunty bought for them with dog chocolate in. First time they've ever had junk food really and they are loving it.
