Perhaps You've Been Fired? Don't know, I never use it.

It's just a mistake. A lot of people incorrectly call it "You've Been Fired" which is where the acronym comes from.

^^ Hands Up I'm one of those who use "YBF", I suppose it's clearer than "YF" well that's my excuse...lol

I don't really know I did admit to using YBF and did add an lol to the end, it was in humour.
