Couldn't care less. He gets on my nerves now most of the time and that does bother me.

So according to DS, two men hugging = gay, panic attacks = weak and wimpy
Pathetic really

I have never thought for 1 minute that Jimmy was gay

And all this touchy feely stuff, whilst to many of us is a bit "odd" ( We are British so we don't do certain things) to me, comes across as a modern way of showing how comfortable one is with their "hetero" sexuality & are not scared to show it.

I mean, if you can be all touchy feely with a guy & not fancy him or have any lustful or sexual feelings towards him what so ever, what is so wrong with that.

And to turn it on its head, if Jimmy was to be so tactile with a female he would be seen as leud & harrassing, so it is lose lose really.

Anyway I do like him, but I am a bit fed up with all the airtime he gets. I find Foggy far more entertaining & would rather he won.
Never gave it a second thought if he was gay or not, and I don't think the 'British' find it in the least bit odd to see other's hug/embrace etc...what did strike me was his groping of Foggies arse.....that was very intimate and highly personal.......however as long as the recipient is okay with it then it's not a problem and so far he does not appear to have upset anyone or crossed a personal line and that I guess is the main thing..........not everyone would be comfortable with that kind of groping and I think that's a personal thing and not necessarily one based on nationality.

Don't macho footballers do this on the pitch constantly?

It never entered my head that he was Gay, he just comes across as very excitable with a low boredom threshold & is doing anything possible to pass, what must be endlessly boring days.
THIS! Plus a bit of playing up to the cameras of course, I mean he actually talks directly to the camera sometimes, how much more obvious can you get??

His insistence on being hugged and the consequent groping was totally inapropreate whether the recipient be male or female.
He didn't once stop to think if his actions would make others uncomfortable and his "look at me, I'm so happy, so up, so great", attitude shows a selfish side too.
He's thinking about himself and what makes him happy and not the group he's with.
About time somebody told him to stfu and grow up.
Well said . Foggy does not seem comfortable with all his touchy feeling and why is he singling out Foggy .

Jimmy's attitude is indeed selfish with no consideration for the other campmates . I mean banging on that metal utensil for so long was plain nasty .

in one of the papers a few weeks ago Swash said he would be happy if the eye candy was female or male and he used Mark Wright as an example of a good looking male so I wouldn't be surprised if he was a 50/50
Bloody hell, I can appreciate a good looking woman but I'm certainly not gay.

I thought society had moved on since the 1970's but this board would show that some certainly haven't

Don't be silly and insulting when it's a lot more then that .

Me silly and insulting? This entire thread is absolutely pathetic, childish and based on stereotypes that went out with the ark.

If there is more to it then please explain because all I can see is ridiculous speculation about someones sexuality based on the fact they are tactile

That's what you call joking on with a friend.

If he was gays we'd already know. If he was closeted...he's not doing it right! he's just lovely and affectionate
You might think he's "lovely and affectionate" but if someone groped my bum the way he did Foggy's I wouldn't be happy. You can hug someone without groping their bum.

You can 'lol' all you like. That's what it is though. Carl showed how much he loves his wife when he held on to her for quite a while.

Call me old fashioned if you wish but I have no idea if Jimmy is gay or not , but feeling and groping someones bum is surely rude ? Be it a male or a female he was out of line . Mind you I was surprised Froggy didnt slap it away
I found that very weird.

He may well be gay a lot of football/ex football players are gay, but it is still a very male dominated mans man type of sporting profession so many remain in the closet, then again he may be a touchy freely person who enjoys groping others.
Some footballers are no doubt gay, but i'd hesitate to use the words 'a lot'.

I don't know if Jimmy is gay, but his brother is. Jimmy is clearly very touchy-feely, but obviously that doesn't make him a gay.

Watch Jimmy...he's one of these people that picks up on people being uncomfortable and keeps on. He will say it's a laugh or to take them out their comfort zone but it's actually a form of domination.

Or he thinks it will give him a psychological advantage over his victims so that his path to winning it will be easier. He has blown it now. He is a wimp - he was bricking it when it was between hi and Jake for the live trial last Sunday. After last night's performance he will surely get picked for more. Maybe he fancies Jake but I suspect he wants to be the alpha male and he isn't even close.

Yes and the definition is bullying. He's an absolute coward in the trials and has been from the start. That is one explanation for the bullying, as far as I'm concerned.
